Our unique bike tours can enjoy 2 of the largest Royal Parks of London still full of deer, cycle River Thames routes to Hampton Court Palace or Windsor Castle or maybe sample traditional beer. Our tours link together or can be bespoke to suit your requirements, alternate dates can be requested for 4+ people, group discounts available we have 20 bikes and various childrens bikes too but more can be provided if needed! On all our full day rides we provide an afternoon tea picnic in beautiful locations, homemade cakes and pots of tea to finish the day. One way cycle routes which start and finishe at train stations zone 3-5 in South West London and full advice on routes given. Get out of the busy city of London for 1 day and enjoy beautiful scenery and a relaxing day out. You can stay at your destination to explore in your own time, we can arrange luggage transfer on request and advice for great hotels. Twickenham is the home of England rugby you can visit the stadium or watch a match at Twickenham Stadium or local rugby matches. Enjoy Polo or cricket matches during the summer or horse racing all year round to make your visit a very British one! Ginette is amazing. Tour is convenient, well organized, and informative. Basically, you show up and go, which makes it easy for those of us visiting from another country. Tour is beautiful and Ginette shares history, trivia, and stories throughout. Great way to see something different. Highly recommend.

We did the bike to Hampton from Richmond and absolutely loved it. This was one of our top activities we did on a 10 day trip. Beautiful beautiful beautiful - if I could have bottled the day I would have. Highly recommend morning bike to Hampton, tour Hampton, then take a boat ride back to Richmond as a five star way to spend the day. My 11 year old and I loved every minute, and was only sorry my husband had food poisoning and couldn’t make it…

We always enjoy exploring a city by bike and her tour from Richmond to Hampton Court Palace was so informative and the highlight of our trip to London! We had a fabulous morning biking along the Thames to Hampton Court Palace - we were the only people booked so our group tour became a private tour! Ginette was great company, very knowledgeable and took care for our safety (even though an easy ride) and was very considerate of pedestrians and other riders along the river. We had a fabulous morning - highly recommend! Excellent morning out and a beautiful ride!

Ginette is a suburb guide who helped me plan the perfect day out & about throughout the royal parks. I booked a bespoke tour since I wanted to go a bit further than the 5-10 mile rides, and she was able to design a route that hit the distance goal I wanted (>25 miles) while also keeping us off busy streets to make the ride a relaxing one. I will definitely be booking with The Merry Pedaller when I visit London next, and this time we'll be doing the hill in Richmond Park!
Once again, Ginette is a joy to spend a day with and the longer ride was the highlight of my trip. 10/10, highly recommend.

We did a half day ride from Richmond to Hampton Court. We had a group of seven riders ranging in age from nine to fifties. Ginette had the right equipment for all of us and created a great experience for all ages. We loved the tidbits of history and nature that she shared. She had the ride well-planned out with the appropriate breaks and food stops. Thanks for a great day out!

Ginette is a gem! I had a private tour booked with her and we did about 50K around the parks and by the River Thames. She provided some history of the area and could have provided more if wanted. We were out riding on a hot day but had plenty of places where it was shady and breezy to ride and there were many suggested stops for cold drinks or a picnic lunch under a tree near a mother duck and her ducklings. We saw plenty of varieties of deer as well, even some cooling off in the water whilst eating leaves off a tree. It was a nice break from the crowds in Central London. If you're looking for a way to get a bit of exercise and see a different part of the area, book a bike tour with Ginette!

The weather was perfect, Richmond Park was beautiful, and Ginette was an excellent guide. She made everything easy for us, from being flexible with start and end to times to suggesting a restaurant that was one of the highlights of our time in London. Thoroughly enjoyed our day! Ginette knows her stuff and gave us a good introduction to Richmond and its place in British history. Pace was easy/comfortable, and through beautiful parkland or along the canals. Toilet stops and the chance to pick our own picnic lunch were also appreciated.
We were fortunate to combine the hike tour with an event at the palace, so it really was a fabulous day!

My daughter and friend will be landing in London Heathrow on Christmas Day 2019 at 1pm with a layover, next flight leaving 12/26 at 8am. Do you have tours available on Christmas Day? If not can you recommend things for them to do near the airport? appreciate any help.

Don't forget there are no trains running though, so they would need to get taxis from Heathrow Airport return to Richmond for this ride (about 6 miles), I do not know what the cost for this would be. I like to consider this as the last leg of our visit to London. It will be for my husband and I. Could you advise a 1-day or 2-day is best. Our flight departing Heathrow airport is May 21 at 4.30 am.

Hi, thanks for your enquiry, if you have not booked your last nights hotel you could consider staying in the local area of South West London on at least Saturday 20th. I schedule rides on request on Fridays and weekends so you could enjoy one of our bike tours such as the Royal Deer Park Bike Tour or Hampton Court Palace Bike Tour on Friday or Saturday. Then stay in the area and get a taxi Sunday morning. Both these rides start at Richmond Station which is at the end of the Underground District Line and anywhere within 30 mins approx on the District Line and staying within 30 mins train trip is good such as Hammersmith, Kensington, Earls Court etc. If you would like to stay in the area around Richmond for more days it is beautiful and relaxing! You have Royal Kew Botanic Gardens, Richmond Park, largest Royal Park of London, (Royal Deer Park Bike Tour), 16th Century Hampton Court Palace (see this tour) and the stunning River Thames here. I can advise hotels around Richmond if required, you can contact direct via my website link and the Contact Us form.
We can offer luggage transfer from Richmond Station to your local hotel if required whilst you enjoy your cycle on request. (at extra cost).
