A few short steps away from the bustle of Oxford street shopping and Marble Arch tube lies this lovely pub, staff were friendly and helpful, and food was delish. Me and my dad just stopped for lunch but the pub had a really warm atmosphere, comfy seats and I especially like the indoor windows adds a lovely brightness to the... More

Music is too loud upstairs, you can hardly talk. Staff is ok but not good as used to be. Poor management. Down stairs used to be very busy and used to open 8pm Friday and Saturday nights but now it doesn't open until 10 or later. Music used to be very lively and modern with some old nice popular songs... Manager intoxicated insulting customers, this pub needs to wake up.I loved to go in and meet friends 3-4 times a week, I think it is very wrong to have a manager of a bar getting intoxicated and insulting customers , green King your reputation is going down hill.

We had a lovely evening out & decided to pop into The Quebec for a quickie. The music was SO LOUD that I could hardly hear yourself let alone any of my friends. We moved several times around the space of the bar to find a spot where we could hear one another & it didn't make any difference where... More

Tucked away off Oxford St, this was a Welcombe break from the rush and bustle of a Sunday shopping. Food is available, but we just had beer and coke. Surprisingly quiet, and very inviting.

We stopped in for lunch while in London. They had just opened when we went in. They are a sandwich and drink special for lunch. The two ladies working at the time weren't the most attentive, but they got the job done. We ordered our sandwiches and sat down. I was pleasantly surprised how good the sandwiches were. We had... Visited on a quiet Tuesday afternoon, yes lots of older guys but all well mannered and enjoyed a bit of bar play trading as lots of eye contact was made! Ended with a great BJ by an older gentleman in the toilets! There was a lot of movements to and fro toilet area so looked like lots of easy going... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
