A beautiful, tranquil park but with plenty to do. You can walk by the river, go on a boating lake, visit a zoo, do a fitness circuit, cycle, scoot etc etc. This is a pretty oasis... read more

I have visited many parks in London and usually have good impression, but not this one. The park itself was well-maintained, just like any other parks in London, but I sensed that the people in this area were tense and not friendly. When I asked for direction to a number of people how to get into Putt in the Park,... More

A beautiful, tranquil park but with plenty to do. You can walk by the river, go on a boating lake, visit a zoo, do a fitness circuit, cycle, scoot etc etc. This is a pretty oasis of green with feature fountain display in the heart of London. A lovely place to visit with a surprise at every turn.

Battersea is a very busy area, possibly a bit run down in my opinion! As soon as you walk through the park gates it's like entering a different world! The park itself is extremely peaceful and has a lovely lake to walk around! The only reason I can't give it 5 is because some of the flower beds looked a... More

One of London's best parks and blissfully located by the River Thames (south side, running between Chelsea and Albert bridges), to make the most of the cooling breeze from the river on London's hottest day. Plenty of places to sit and relax in the sun or shade. Take your best friend, a bottle of wine and enjoy summer.

The flower beds, lawns and fountain are all excellently looked after, the park is massive. My kids are 4 and 1 felt like we were the only ones there. We had a packed lunch on the lawns and spent the rest of the afternoon in the Zoo. Which is small enough for little legs to walk around and discover. I... More

My disabled wife and I often visit Londons many parks and this is perhaps our favourite. It really does have everything, from quiet lakeside walks, to childens play areas and ropeway adventures. From a traditional English garden to boating or ghe childrens zoo. Rare trees to open fields and sport. With good parking, cyvle routes, bike hire and cafes. No... More

This is a beautiful park in a lovely position next to the Thames. There are well kept lawns and flower beds, a boating lake, fountains, tennis courts, a pagoda. We thoroughly enjoyed walking through it today. It was full of families having fun so is obviously well used. However, we were extremely disappointed in the dire cafe facilities on offer.... More

A nice sunny day brings out the crowds but this park seems to absorb everyone rather than becoming saturated. It is compact but feels bigger simply because there is so much to see the pagoda the fountains the English garden go ape tennis a childrens zoo and of course old Father Thames and that is just for starters. Battersea park... More

We don't normally visit this part of London but the Formula E brought us here. We were pleasantly surprised with the setting and amazed that any park can house a big event like this so effortlessly. We traveled by public transport from Vauxhall on the 156 bus and got to the park after a few minute walk. Battersea Park is... More

Been here a couple of times most recently for the FormulaE racing. Love the quietness of the park.. One point o2 coverage sucks, obviously not the parks fault 😃
