Had an amazing visit! Loved every minute of it. I have visited the Hoxton Banya no1 before and left feeling like it wasn’t worth the money. The treatments felt rushed and seemed to be over very quickly. Different experience at the Chiswick Banya. Was worth every penny and I have left feeling relaxed, content and looking forward to coming back soon. Chiswick is much further from home for me than Hoxton but the extra travel seems well worth it. I went on a men only day and if you are uncomfortable with others being naked then it may not be for you. I found that it soon felt completely normal and actually added to the sense of relaxation and well being! The treatments I received were out of this world. I had a parenie, a scrub and also a body wash. The therapist was great, very friendly and polite. He took his time and I would highly recommend the treatments I had. I had the same treatments at Hoxton and these were another level in comparison. I will be back for sure, I can’t wait!

authentic Russian banya, food and drinks experience. nice service. recommend to brave proper 'pareniye' and dunking into cold water (the 'banshchik' - the attendant - will help you to be decisive and nudge you to do it). good to spend time together in a cabin outside of the steamroom with food and drinks. we went 3 times, usually spend at least 2 hours there, popping into the steam room periodically.

Great experience, this was a gift and very welcome. Came out feeling less stressed and a different experience than a "normal" spa. People were really lovely and polite. food was good, although not to my tastes. Would recommend full experience - massage was great, leaves massage was good and body scrub great too.

First time at Banja No.1 in Chiswick - I received a voucher as a gift for Christmas. It was a great experience - sauna very hot (which was good!), massage sorted out a problem with my neck, parenie was excellent and not like anything I had experience before!, body scrub and mud mask were very good. Felt great afterwards. I would highly recommend and will be back.

This was an awesome experience that I have never had before. We had a group and a package so had more than just the Parenie that is 100% worth experiencing. The pickled herring was delicious as was the vodka and pickle shots in between. Based on the entire experience I can now take a cold shower that is extremely exhilarating.

A truly unique spa experience. We booked the Karelia room for two and were very well looked after. The Sauna is fabulous, cold plunge pool and treatments were divine. Highly recommended! We will be back

Amazing experience - felt very refreshed afterwards. My friend and I enjoyed the Gold package as a birthday celebration. We loved the Parenie which was our first time and both took the cold pool plunge but all the treatments were excellent. Staff were very helpful and attentive- thank you!
