Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I walked between a series of rooms and saw strange things happening. Rituals, pretty sights, curious sounds. Not sure I can explain why I loved it, but I'm sure I did.

Creative, clever and compelling. Immersive theatre at it's best. Punch-drunk are the world leaders of their craft.

Dark, mysterious and frightening.
We didn't understand much of what was going on - even though the actors were really going for it - and were left bemused at the graphic violence, the seemingly unnecessary nudity, much of the character's interaction with one another (as that made little sense), and the thrashing around with bloodied intestines... as... what the heck was that all about?
The anonymity that comes form mask wearing was sinister, and the chasing that took place, by hoards of masked individuals each and every time that an actor moved was, to say the least, a bit off-putting (and rather like watching a paparazzi hoard)?!
Perhaps it's pitched at those who are far more worldly-wise and intelligent than we are, as, after 90 minutes, we'd had enough, and did-a-runner!
It was interesting, it was exciting, but... I still have no idea what it was all about!
For us, Jeff Wayne's War-Of-The-Worlds truly hit-the-brief for immersive theatre, as... we actually understood what was going on!

We chose not to read any spoilers before going. This led to three hours of absolute nonsense, leaving me feeling confused and disassociated. The storyline appeared non existent, and what story I think I managed to deduce - is just chaotic and happening at the same time in several places so is impossible to see it all.

All the “scenes” are purely interpretive dance, which I am sure the avid “deep thinking, alternative, theatrical they/thems” (of which the theatre was full) understood fine… but to us mere mortals it was incomprehensible.

I fully recommend reading ALL the spoilers so you understand it, reading them after annoys me. I think the company should offer optional booklets to help explain the plot! - this would possibly have changed the whole experience.

We had average level tickets, so by the time they let us through from the bar the scenes were already we underway which didn’t help.

The set however was excellent. The vibe and production of the physical side of the show was impressive to say the least. - just wondering through the world created was interesting and really did make you feel to be in a dystopian wasteland.

We went on a hot day, there was no Aircon, it was 30+ degrees in there and all guests are to wear sweaty used plastic masks, which wasn’t ideal. One guest passes out and it took a long time to get him any decent help. I felt sorry for the actors in costume!

The bar is cool (albeit expensive even for London)

The band at the end were good, but the lead singer was a real show piece with an incredible set of lungs.

Overall, set, band, bar good. Plot still mostly unknown and bewildering

Probably wouldn’t go again, but can pretend I’m more artsy than I am in bar conversations now

We were looking for something different to do, and this did NOT disappoint. Totally immersive theater! Just some hints: the venue is heated very well, don't wear heavy clothes. You do LOTS of walking, wear sneakers or trainers, and be prepared to sit on the floor, etc. There is also some nudity so not for the prudish. Adults only experience. It can be intense. There are characters that you follow around the "city" as they tell their story in motion and dance. You wear a mask and there is NO talking. We picked one of the main characters to follow for her story, but there are several to choose from, and if you go more than once, you can follow different characters for a whole different story line until the end. It is a GOOD three hour experience and you can exit to the bar for breaks or toilets.

Your phone is locked into a black bag for the duration of the show and you can coat check your things - we brought a large bag and put all three coats into it and then checked it for 2 pounds. Also no large bags or purses as they get in the way. Sets are amazing and very detailed. It is located in a large warehouse. The story line consists of Greek gods and greek tragedies.

Very easy to get to from Central London. We took the Elizabeth Line all the way to Woolwich.
