Really enjoyed Comedy about a Bank Robbery that Went Wrong. The acting, sets, music are all terrific. Sure, it is a bit slap-stick, even corny at times, but for an American cousin looking for uniquely British humor (at least our perception if it) this filled...More

Was not sure what to expect, but was very pleasantly surprised by a comedy that left me with sore ribs. Sharply written and brilliantly executed, my wife and I, together with the rest of the audience, laughed throughout the performance.

The Criterion Theater is beautiful, and located ideally in the heart of London (hence the four stars). Unfortunately, what took place on stage didn't live up to the setting. It is a relatively uninspired, cheap comedy (almost entirely based on purposefully cheesy puns). It is...More

CRITERION THEATRE 13/05/2017. Having seen the side-splitting 'The Play That Goes Wrong' twice, it was inevitable that I would get to see Mischief Theatre's hilarious production 'The Comedy About A Bank Robbery'. This is another laughter-filled night at the theatre - and what a theatre!...More

We saw Comedy about a Bank Robbery. The theater was beautiful, the seats very comfortable, and we could see everything very well. Since it was fairly small, I assume that all seats provided a good view. We went on a Sunday and they had special...More

My daughter and I absolutely loved The play that goes wrong so thought we would try The Bank Robbery. It was one of the worst plays I have ever seen. Hackneyed, boring and truly a complete waste of money. It just wasn't funny at all...More

First of all 'comedy about a bank robbery' is fantastic. It's a much watch. Definitely the best comedy show I've seen in London. The theatre itself is one of the more compact ones. Lots of the views are restricted due to pillars. Be sure to...More

I came here with my partner last night , and we were treated to a very funny play , it's set in 1950s small town America and tells the story of a young wayward guy who becomes involved with a crook's girlfriend and inadvertently ends...More

Great show - superb comic timing and word manipulation - genuinely funny throughout the entire show. Very clever staging and scenery, Only downside is that the seating was a little cramped. We were in the front row of the upper circle.

Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII,
the aristocratic “Clubland” of St James's is a premier
destination for high end craft and bespoke design.
Here you’ll lose count of the Royal Warrants (which
indicate that the Royal Family patronizes the

a short stroll to bordering Green Park or St James’s
