My wife and I recently stopped into The Swan on holiday in London. The pub is situated well, near Hyde Park and Oxford Street and close to our accommodation near Bayswater Station. We had breakfast, and are both with special needs, namely gluten-free and vegetarian. We really enjoyed our experience here! The pub is beautiful, staff is friendly, lovely decor, and fresh flowers, we could not have enjoyed it more. Highly recommend The Swan!

We ended up eating at The Swan twice almost by accident. The first time we ate lunch after getting fed up of the crowds in the city. Walking back to our hotel from the Tube we passed this pub. We took a chance, went in and sat down. There’s a good choice of beers at the bar. The porter went down too well. We both chose steak from the lunch menu. Both were cooked well and came with chips, mushroom, and salad. Neither of us had anything to moan about. The next morning we’d already decided to have breakfast at The Swan as the breakfast we’d had the day before at our hotel didn’t even reach the level of average - it was bad. However, breakfast at The Swan was a different story, From the menu we both chose the full English. You get a real plate full of quality food. - bacon, sausage, beans, black pudding, grilled tomatoes, hash browns, mushrooms and your choice of eggs and toast. It was spot on. The guys working in the pub for both of our meals were very friendly and polite without being intrusive. This is a busy pub in what we thought is an area of small hotels and private houses/ flats. It’s a lovely place of peace and quiet away from the city crowds. We wouldn’t hesitate to tell anyone to pay a visit…….

We had dinner there during the week, and liked it enough to do the Sunday roast. Loved all the meals. The pork with crackling was terrific. Enjoy Hyde park across the street then have a nice supper. We did the park Sunday morning then roast. A great morning. Staff is very nice and the food was great. Book a table if you want to do the roast.

Stayed at Corus, popped over for Sunday lunch and a pint. Lovely overall but Sunday lunch short on apple sauce and very mean with cracking! The pub is a little pricey but that’s London prices. Ideally located by Hyde Park.

The Swan delivers again! We discovered The Swan on our first time in London over 10 years ago. Now we find ourselves dining there every time we find ourselves in London since it is walkable from our hotel. On this trip, we enjoyed a tasty dinner on a quiet Monday evening on our first day out. Nice to know we can depend on good food and good service here!

Eight of us came here for dinner last night, early at 6 PM. We got a nice table upstairs in a quiet room which we were grateful for as many people were gathering downstairs for the England football game. Service was very slow, and no one came to check on our meal, we had to ask four times to get tap water refills, and the two servers were just completely overwhelmed. Fish and Chips were OK, other meals so-so, the Scotch egg starter was delicious. It was rather disappointing, considering the rave reviews.

I brought friends here for a drink late in the afternoon on a Thursday. It was busy all the time we were here, from 5 till gone 8. We sat outside until it got dark. They have a good selection of draft beers and it's great to drink in the front garden.
