The RAF Benevolent Fund is proud and privileged to be the custodian of the new Bomber Command Memorial in central London. The memorial has been built to be modern, yet classical, in Portland stone. At its heart are the bronze sculptures of a Bomber Command aircrew. Within the memorial, the space is open to the sky with an opening designed to allow light to fall directly onto sculptures of the aircrew.

Life size sculpture of a bomber crew. A fitting tribute to the British airmen who lost their lives in WW2. Located near Green Park.

It is fitting that after so long the RAF Bomber Command is recognized by this great artwork. It is in a great place and has been given the space it needed.

I Didn’t think I would be so moved by this, but I was. If anyone in your family was involved in the air war in/from Britain, this will have an impact.

A beautiful monument to commemorate brave airmen. The RAF crest and motto stand out very clearly and the open roof above the statues automatically lifts you to the skies.

A long overdue memorial to the bomber crews of WW2 who never came back.A very well designed monument , and the sculptures of the airmen is first class . Situated on the edge of Green Park.
