The other day after shopping, I went for a quick lunch to that beautifully located restaurant in central London aqua Kyoto nueva, restaurant offers nice atmosphere and spacious rooms! The roof terrace is so nice! Views not bad. Menu looks so delicious! Defo would like to try that food again. One minus I'm Not sure why we have been charged... More

Aqua Spirit looks great, the decor inside is really nice and looks great on the eye. But the drinks are way too expensive for what it is. It the view from the rooftop was not great at all as it's not high enough to see much. I bought 4 cocktails and the tab came to £59 without service. The bar... More

There are two terraces both are about the same and have good views. Smoking is permitted outside and arrive at by 6.30pm on Friday if you want to sit outside as tables go fast. Service at the bar is slow and there was no waitress service where we were outside. Waiting at the bar is around 10 minutes and longer... More

I can't imagine how this place still keeps their high level. It is a miracle and each time I am there I enjoy a lot. This nice for dinner, for aperitif or as a bar. They have several restaurant Spanish, Japanese and others. Please be aware you should book it before. And please take a note to how you dressed

This was our second time to Aqua Kyoto for the set menu for £55 including all you can drink + Veuve Cliquot however although the staff were ever so friendly and accommodating they did advise that on future, Veuve will no longer be an option. The option will be £55 including all you drink + bubbles - Bubbles meaning Cava.... More

Although it is a rooftop bar, you don't get much scenery, just the tops of other buildings. You definitely wont get a romantic view. We only stayed for drinks, cocktails cost about 15 each, you pay for the location which is fine BUT most certainly not the taste of the cocktail as it was nothing out of the ordinary so... More

I suppose you can have a great time there if you are looking to have a few fancy drinks. The cocktails did not blow my mind, were slightly overpriced and the place was mainly filled with tourists and swanky city suits. Great viewing terrace, it must be lovely during the summer. Great location.

Having not been able to book Sushi Samba, we decided to go to Aqua. Having been here for drinks on a number of occasions, I wanted to try the food. Food was pricey as were the drinks, probably due to its location being so central. Food was tasty, portion sizes were okay but nothing special. The venue itself is grand,... More

We were at the bar on a busy saturday night, nice vibes and music untill some drunk idiots started a fight and glasses went flying around the place with music stopping and the bar closing earlier. Up until then the place seemed very nice, service was fast, not friendly and, is it me or there are hardly any British people... More

Aqua is busy! The bar is great, the location superb and outside space brilliant. Service is poor and food in the restaurant is average (certainly not as good as Nobu or similar) but the bar makes up for it. My advice is to eat elsewhere but go here for after dinner drinks.

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
