A good place to shop for presents and souvenirs.Huge range of teas to choose from.Unfortunately there was a private tasting in progress so we were unable to sample any teas. A beautiful and historic building.
We took the tea masterclass and had a wonderful experience. We tasted absolutely deligtful teas and learned so much about our favorite hot beverage. Madeline was a great host: warm, inviting and knowledgeable. We plan to do it again when we come back to London!
The store itself is beautiful and has an historic British feel to it, which fits with the Twinings brand.
Layout is nice (though a little narrow) and a large selection of teas from varying origins on offer.

From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's
glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.

The Twinings shop is a few miles from The Kensington, but to get there, just take a District Line train from South Kensington tube station to Temple, and walk about five minutes to the Twinings shop from there. Exit the station to the left, up the stairs and down Arundle Street (lots of building work along that street at the moment). Turn right at the Strand and Twinings is opposite the Royal Courts of Justice.
The shop is open 9.30-7 Mon-Fri, 10-5 Sat and 10.30-16.30 Sun.
