Really interesting walk with Stephen! When you go shopping in Oxford street, you don't really pay attention to the amazing buildings that sorround you. After this walk, we are more conscious about the history behind those buildings and those that made London the city it is today. We really recommend this walk, and Stephen that has been an adorable guide.... More

Neil was informative and entertaining and gave us an insight into the alleyways around St. Paul's and Fleet Street that we never could have imagined. Highly recommended for anyone with an interest in the history of an area which had such an influence which is felt to today.

We had a fascinating afternoon with Mark Rowland in the City of London, He's a great story teller, and for two hours entertained us non-stop with tales of people that made the City of London the place it is today. He has a wonderful memory for all the interesting details, and brings the people he talks about to life, whether... More

Andrew Parnell has perfected a tour of the history of the architecture in social housing in Poplar. The walk was well paced and balanced with the lengths of time talking and walking. Not a huge trek, just right for any person. If you are interested in the architecture of social housing in London, I recommend this, especially as the Robin... More

My mother and I had a wonderful time on this walk - Mark was friendly and gave an extremely entertaining and interesting talk. Was lovely to see and hear about some of the history of London and Dickens that was so specific to the area.

My 17-year-old daughter and I really enjoyed the Tracing the Tudors walk with Mark, who has a knack for bringing history to life. We came away with a far better understanding of where and how major events took place. It was fun to walk in the footsteps of figures such as Thomas Cromwell, "Bloody Mary", Katherine of Aragon and Henry... More

We joined the Halloween tour and dressed up for the occasion! We were glad to see others had also entered into the spirit of the evening and there was a large, friendly crowd of other walkers. Paul is an amusing and very knowledgable guide and picks a good mix of stories - by turns historic, funny and scary. We have... More
