    Favorite spot
Favorite comedy club in London. I go 5-6x/ year. Always a great vibe. Great lineups and great hosts. Really fantastic value for price. A bit dingy, but that's what gives it character.

Good way to spend a Monday evening
A fun way to spend a Monday! As it was an amateur night the comedy was definitely mixed, but generally very good. My only qualm is that you pay £1 upfront but then are 'strongly encouraged' (they stand at the door) to pay 'what you think the night was worth'. This is slightly misleading as the idea of the night is for comedians to test out new material.

Another great night. Four cracking acts and host Mark at his dark best. It's not a trip to London without a session at The Top Secret Comedy Club. Fourth visit tonight. We shall return, I shut thee nay!

    (NOT) Cheap evening out
Great evening. £3 a ticket a great cheap evening........ But at the end of the evening you were asked to donate what you thought the comedians were worth and felt compelled to donate because they were in the doorway with buckets and cash card machines at the ready , we would have rather paid more for the tickets upfront then we would have budgeted for the experience. Great comedians, lots of laughter. The comedians made the evening 9/10. The ticket business 5/10.

    Brilliant - Highly Recommended!
I regularly stay in London for 1 or 2 nights a week for work reasons and have always loved attending stand up comedy. On finding this place in June this year have now been loads of times and have not had one bad night! Great comedians from the comedy circuit, up and coming new comedians and surprise guest celebrity comedians.... its got it all. Great atmosphere and reasonably priced drinks. Also took my missus here for a Saturday afternoon gig when we were both in London for 2 days together last month and she loved it too. Just book a ticket and give it a whirl - you won't regret it!

    Fun comedy club
A fun comedy club in a convenient location in London. Comedians were funny, and it was a good atmosphere and drinks a reasonable price, though I’d skip the wine (tasted weird) and stick with the beer. It was a larger venue than expected with quite a large audience — we are use to more intimate clubs like in NYC. There was slightly misleading messaging online that said the show would have a “surprise celebrity comedian”, but there was no such comedian, and also, they started the show 30 min after the scheduled time. However, it was altogether a fun time and was glad we were able to check out the London comedy scene!

The top secret here is cheap drinks and quality comedy
In Drury Lane, not far from Tottenham Court Road and Covent Garden, I’ll let you know a top secret! It was a spontaneous Friday night visit to the late late show here, not the late show one before this one, to this conveyor belt of comedy. Ive been to a few comedy clubs in London and this one is the most spit and sawdust basement style out of all of them. But it works. It’s short and sweet and cheap. Downstairs, into an efficient bar area with lots of staff, drinks are served quick and very reasonably priced for late night London, especially wine. Then into the large ish seating area on a first come, first served basis. Side seats offer good views too. Small intimate stage. Good music between acts, MC, 2 comedians at 10 minutes each and then another 2 comedians at 10 minutes each after a drink and toilet break. Whilst I’m there, toilets were clean and erm intimate. Watch out men, your queue will be longer than the ladies at the end of the night. Josephine Lacey was just the funniest MC I have ever had the pleasure of listening to, about as quick witted as one can get. This place is open 362 days a year so plenty of time to try it out. Nothing to do one afternoon or evening? Well worth a visit!

Great show and very reasonable priced. So pay it and enjoy the night. The four comedians were excellent and what’s enjoyable is that you don’t know what or what type of comedy you will get 👍

Very hard sell at the end of the show which was a shame. We went on a Saturday where the acts practise and it’s advertised as £1 tickets & pay what you think the show was worth at the end. At the end of the 4th act, the presenter spent about 10 mins pushing the audience on how everyone should be paying at least £35pp as the acts were so amazing etc.
When you leave, it’s single file & they stand with a bucket & card machine and it really felt uncomfortable. We gave them a tenner which then they pressured us to pay more - I’d rather just pay upfront for tickets instead of them advertising that comedy should be accessible for all etc etc instead of ruining the atmosphere and pushing for money. It honestly got to the point where it was all he was talking about & spent time calculating how much acts were worth. It was bizarre. The venue itself is really rundown and the toilets aren’t the best so it’s not exactly a high quality experience that you would expect if you were to pay £35+ a ticket. I’ve been going to the venue for years but won’t be returning on a Saturday again - or even perhaps to any of the shows.
Sadly wouldn’t recommend & would go elsewhere in future which is a shame after supporting them for many years.

Thought it was a great deal at £1 tickets and heard about this club so thought we’d give it a go, some acts were ok, funnier than otherwise but you’re always going to get a mixed bag and that’s fair enough - not everyone is going to find them funny. The drinks are reasonably priced but the toilet is actually gross. There was one toilet on the floor we were on and it’s for women and men - you had a to wait and while and they were grim! It was really busy in there and not enough seats for everyone - we had stools at the back which were really uncomfortable after a few hours. The worst part was the end, it didn’t start at 8 or finish at 10:30 as advertised and then was made even longer as it’s single file queue to get out because they are forcing you to pay at the door. It’s a really hard sell of “we don’t get paid unless you’d pay” you don’t really have any choice unless you want a seriously uncomfortable situation! I’d rather you just charge more for the tickets if that’s the case rather than get people through the door under the guise of making it cheaper for people and then forcing you to pay more at the end and making getting out of there so long!

Ticket was a good price BUT they shame you with it. In the beginning they say they put the price that low so its accessible for everyone but then they change their tune and say at the end they'd basically like more money to pay the acts. They barricaded the doors so we couldn't leave until the guy with the bucket and card machines were up there and if you didn't give enough ie what they wanted...you're basically shamed. Sooo not exactly accessible for everyone is it, just a poor end to the show

It is overrated, super crowded and funny.

This was the third comedy club in London I have been to and, unfortunately, the worst. I bought tickets because of the good reviews but was disappointed as the comedians really weren’t that funny and the atmosphere was below average. They give you free shots for reviews, so that’s probably where the five-star ones come from.
