- CallumLondon, United Kingdom41 contributionsGreat showWe really enjoyed this show. We started by having a drink on the deck of the boat. The boat is a separate entity that hosts the show. You get good views of the river here. The show itself takes place on the aft section of the boat on the lower deck. The venue has a bar inside that opens before the show & at each 15 minute interval. The comedy was amazing with a great lineup of acts.Visited January 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 14 January 2024
- bennyboysmithLondon, United Kingdom98 contributionsGreat laughs and venue but too many breaksThe show itself is great. The line up was of a good standard. Especially the headline. However the amount of breaks/intervals was disproportionate to the length of the show and the time some of the acts were actually on for. There's no need for 3 x 15+ minute breaks. The organisers might say it's to allow for bar/loo breaks. However even with 3 breaks a young lad got up during the final act (after the 3rd break) and still went to the loo. 3 breaks also artificially inflates the running time of the show. Some of the acts were on for a very short amount of time (several minutes) and then we'd have another 15/20 break. I'd rather have 2 breaks and a shorter show run time. Having said that the venue/show itself is very unique as was the the line up. I'd definitely see another show but resigned to getting a later train home due to lack of efficiency.Visited January 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 29 January 2024
- Robbie-R1Bedford, United Kingdom77 contributionsFantastic night. Great comedy.I arranged a group visit at the comedy show. In fact, there were over 50 of us......it was brilliant all the way through. The MC was Thaniya Moore, and she owned it. The whole show was great. Every act was unique and hilarious, and everyone in my group loved it. Personally, it was my second visit, and i can't recommend it enough. Hopefully, some of colleagues will be repeat customers now. 5* - brilliant.Visited January 2024Travelled with friendsWritten 30 January 2024

The acts & MC’s are always brilliant & the club is fantastically run. If you enjoy a comedy night, then I throughly recommend visiting the boat :)Visited January 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 30 January 2024

It is a small friendly venue with excellent mix of comedian's I visit at least once a month and always fall off my seat laughing. Let me start by saying that I don’t go to many comedy shows so I’m in no way a connoisseur; but I really felt like I was missing something at this show! The acts had the rest of the (slightly older) crowd roaring with laughter; my boyfriend and I found it all quite contrived and unnatural. I chuckled once or twice throughout the evening but certainly wasn’t gasping for breath as I have been at other comedy shows (like top secret comedy club). The seating is really awful, tiny chairs cramped together and unless you’re in the front two rows you literally cannot see the act at all for all of the heads in front of you. The drinks were super overpriced and seeing as we were so far below deck on the boat, I really wasn’t aware most of the time we were on a boat at all (images of comedy with the river in the background were what I had in mind.) I also felt the amount time waiting around was too much; I didn’t need a half hour interval after the first act! overall it was an OK evening but not as funny as I hoped and dragged on far too long.

I have been here 6 times in 4 years - lunches; dinners; New Year’s Eve celebrations; comedy sessions; non-comedy events. In every instance, service has been superb and food great value for money. They all deserve a 5 star rating. The last time was a surprise gathering for my partners 50th; the extra personal touches (and helping me find a lost jacket) were all evidence of going the extra mile. Thank you... we will be back!

The boat is in a great setting opposite the London eye, and is a good place to visit just for a drink. We went for the Saturday night comedy show and really enjoyed the intimate atmosphere of the place. The guys on the door were were very welcoming and the acts were all decent. The compere in particular was excellent. All in all, a great value night out, good comics in a great setting.

Had so much fun and laughter that I was smiling for days. The show had 3 acts and the host. All the acts had punchlines that made everyone laugh. The atmosphere was lively and vibrant. There is a night club after the show with music that is both throwback and trending.

We had a great time at the Boat Show Comedy Club yesterday night in celebration for my boyfriend's birthday. I went here using a voucher from the BuyAGift and got in contact with Jack for organising the use of the comedy voucher. Jack was very responsive and helpful throughout and even made it more special for my boyfriend as we got great seats and a glass of Prosecco! Thank you very much Jack! I would highly recommend this event as it was hilarious - the MC and acts! Only slight negative is that food and drink is quite expensive at the venue...

This was my second visit to this venue with my party of 9 people, and it was just as good as our first visit last year. It was easy to book and our tickets were available immediately. On the night we were met by the warmest of welcomes, and shown to our seats. We had time to get a drinks and get ourselves comfortable.
The acts started with an lovely MC. She was very funny and engaging! All the acts were very, very funny and we were soon roaring with laughter. All in all we had the best evening, and we will definitely be back again!!

Never disappoints!! Love this place so much. Jack is fantastic sorting everything else, the comedians are too notch, the DJ is brilliant. The only criticism I can give is one of the security/doorman, normally they are really friendly and happy. BUT there was one doorman who I can only describe as a rude, arrogant, jumped up, Nasty little man! His name was mamood and I can honestly say I have never witnessed someone be so rude to so many people ever. The level of disrespect was disgusting. Thanks to the rest of the door team who were as always professional 😊

Had an amazing night on Saturday with a group of friends. It was honestly so good, all the comedians were fantastic our faces were hurting from laughing so much. Great value for money ( couldnt believes how cheap it was) location was brilliant. We were so amazed I would definitely do it again.

I'm afraid the show is 18 years plus due to licencing restrictions of the venue. ID may be required.

Does everywhere you sit have a table? Is the seating comfy and is there easy access for a pregnant woman?
Thanks
Written 23 February 2018
No tables, chairs are ok, I would not think it would be a problem for a pregnant woman, there were people there with walking sticks.
Hope this helps.
