The pub advertises itself a traditional Eastend pub and were disappointed to find that it was quite hip with more of a student vibe. There was no ale available, only lager. The service was slow with a 40 minute wait for food. However the food was delicious and piping hot.
It was right next to Bow Church station and just a ten minute walk to the ABBA arena.

Had a wonderful afternoon with great staff.A real proper pub with charming decor & atmosphere ,a real delight.Stayed for an evening meal ,real authentic Pizza it was delicious with a decent drink.Fantastic staff in particular- Cameron who was a great barman.Will be back.Many thanks

Great staff, cheap ish pints but the atmosphere of the local community is what makes this pub stand out from the crowd in the area.

Great choice of beers and lots of tables. Food is good for a snack, the Pizza and chips is great for a pre game bite and saves paying over the odds for food at the London stadium. Burgers also now back on the menu.

Lovely pub however the only disappointing thing is they are not accepting cash. Lovely staff polite and professional service. This pub has been around a long time so come on people Covid is on the wane so start taking cash especially the football season is nearly upon us and this place is next door and a favourite watering hole of the West Ham faithful.

I have been coming here for years. Local pub for a couple of drinks and a pizza whenever and always good. But the last couple of weeks since you guys reopened after lockdown I just have to say thank you for looking after the elderly and people who may not be as able as everyone else who come here. I've been here twice since then and honestly the staff just have looked after them so well. Thank you so so much because that is so important and something that so many establishments cannot grasp right now... you guys have it spot on. Thank you, Megan x

Went here yesterday with a friend. Had a really nice time. Very quiet had two drinks and we both ordered burger and chips. Really nice food, barman was friendly and very Covid aware wiping down tables etc. Shame I did not see the ghost in the ladies.
