Our tour begins at Great Portland Street Tube Station and takes us through well-known parts of the West End, before finishing at Rathbone Place (close to Oxford Street). The tour lasts approximately two and a half hours, and includes a free copy of Orwell's classic Politics and the English Language.

This was a tour I had wanted to do for a long time and finally had the opportunity when I had a chance to visit London. Diarmaid is the best kind of guide (and he is also the originator of this tour) - one that...More

Great weather, great company and a knowledgeable, passionate guide in Diarmid who introduced us to the places in Central London that inspired and featured in Orwell's work. A tour out of the ordinary and very highly recommended.

For three hours Greater London becomes Orwell's en plein air museum. And the priviledge to discover it is given only to those who get the walking tour experience with Diarmaid as a tour guide. When it comes to Orwell, Diarmaid is,frankly, a walking encyclopaedia. Don't...More
