Our tour begins at Great Portland Street Tube Station and takes us through well-known parts of the West End, before finishing at Rathbone Place (close to Oxford Street). The tour lasts approximately two and a half hours, and includes a free copy of Orwell's classic Politics and the English Language.

Great weather, great company and a knowledgeable, passionate guide in Diarmid who introduced us to the places in Central London that inspired and featured in Orwell's work. A tour out of the ordinary and very highly recommended.

Diarmaid did an excellent job blending biographical facts about Orwell with elements of Orwell's texts. His passion for the subject matter showed, which made the tour highly enjoyable.

Excellent tour. Diarmaid is a very knowledgeable and entertaining guide. The tour is an interesting insight into Orwell's life, as well as a good way to get to know London on foot.
