Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Covent Garden Gastrotour with Celia. We thought we knew the area quite well, but certainly found out about new places and foods to try. Celia catered for everyone's needs and provided interesting information as we walked, both about food and the area itself.

Our tour of Borough Market with Celia was the highlight of our trip to London! Her knowledge not only of the vendors and their foods but if the history of the market made the time unforgettable. She educated us about each of the products we tried and set out of accommodate the various ages and tastes of the group. She made sure there was something for everyone. We will be talking about our tour for years!

The tour was a gift so we didnt know what to expect. We loved it. It is definitely a great gift for foodies with plenty of tastings from across the world, info about what we were trying or looking at and the local history. Appreciated it being a small group. Made it much more personal. .One of the best things we've done on a London trip.

The tour of Borough Market with Celia was thoroughly enjoyable and an eye-opener, even for someone who had visited the market a few times before. Celia's knowledge of the market, its produce and vendors is extensive and we were able to sample delicacies that would otherwise I'm sure have eluded us.
Wholly recommended!

Really great tour - good balance of interesting information, food and fun. Loved that the quantities at each stop we’re small but delicious, so we covered a lot of food territory. Learned loads, ate some amazing food and met some really nice people! Thank you Celia.

Celia's Borough Market taste tour is a great way to learn about the market, taste a great variety of foods, and meet different people. I was in a group of nine (two others from the US like myself, the rest local from the England), and you start off with a breakfast meet and greet at Mallow Restaurant (really good plant-based food) at 10am. You're then off to Borough Market (before the big crowds show up) where Celia gets you a lot of good food to taste and giving lots of information about the market history, the individual stalls, and the foods you eat. Since she's one of only two people who are licensed to give tours at Borough Market, she knows so many of the vendors very well. It was a nice way of trying a lot of foods that I don't think I would've bought if I visited the market by myself. I also thoroughly enjoyed getting to meet and talk to the folks in my group; as someone who is very shy, it definitely became easier to talk to everyone as the tour went on. If you can afford it, I highly recommend doing a tour with Celia.

Had a fabulous morning with Celia on Thursday, on her Covent Garden Gastrotour!
Who knew there were so many exciting and innovative food establishments in that area! Celia knows so much about the area's history too, which makes it all the more interesting. There are many places that we shall be returning to soon!

Celia's comprehensive, fast-paced and well organised tour of Borough Market was a wonderful way to spend a warm, bright February morning in London. Celia is engaging and has very positive relationships with traders in the market. We sampled from about 18 different stalls and venues and were made to feel no obligation to buy, although we made our way back to some of the vendors to make purchases after the tour was over. Personal highlights were the chocolate coated cobb nuts at Food and Forest, the mushroom paté at Paté Moi, the bread at Olivier's Bakery and the crumble from Humble Crumble, all stalls we probably woudn't have bothered with if we were visiting the market without Celia's guidance. We were provided with so much food we didn't need to eat anything for the rest of the day! Highly recommended.

Celia’s tour is magical. A superb walk weaving in and out of the amazing colourful shops in all of the three areas of Borough Market. Celia is a real character and very entertaining and guides you through about 30 different food and drink tastings - there were four of us so we were perhaps in a more privileged position as Celia usually takes up to 12. We had a most magnificent morning which was incredibly enjoyable and lasted well over three hours. We then went back to the market and bought a whole series of foods and a couple of books including a signed copy of Celia’s latest! Strongly recommended.

I love this market but there is such a vast variety of stalls I didn't kow where start and what I was missing. Celia's description of the history and who sells what with the help of a lot of sampling was so enlightening! Thoroughly recommended!
