Me and 20 friends turned up to XOYO after hearing good reviews, due to the peak time we turned up a lot of people were in the line we was greeted by a warm Steward name Yanka I asked him about table service and he immediately found us a table scanned our tickets and put us to the front of the que he then walked us in to our table which we felt honoured and privileged he didn’t have to do that he went out of his way to make it a pleasant evening for us. The service from the Bar, Cloakroom and Security throughout the night was amazing the sound system was incredible we had the best night out at XOYO even when we left the venue we were greeted by Yanka who helped us get a taxi right outside the club as we weren’t from around the area. I will definitely recommend XOYO for a night out and will be returning soon. 10/10 service all round.

The staff here are vile and it needs to be looked into by management looking at the amount of comments that say the similar things.
My boyfriend was dragged out of the club early on in the night for the reason of being “too drunk” and told to come back in half an hour. After I asked why he had been removed I was told I wasn’t allowed to know and i would also be removed if I didn’t go back inside.
Later on after a slight altercation between people in the smoking area instead of the bouncers diffusing the situation verbally, they grabbed onto my boyfriend extremely aggressively and then pushed him away! This resulted in punches being thrown by the staff and they were even spitting in the faces of my friends.
This whole situation was completely blown out of proportion and I was shocked at the staff and bouncers attitudes and aggressiveness towards people who are supposed to be customers.

We love clubbing, but this shock of an experience due to cost to enter (£25 each on a Friday) and the total disappointment inside meant we left within an hour. Accepted it was drum and base which is not our thing typically. Light show was non existent unless a few flashing spots and one laser is what we were supposed to rave about. Other rooms were closed. Ministry of Sound is cheaper with early bird entry!

I had never had such a horrible experience with bouncers in my whole life. I arrived at the bar 100% sober, and showed my Costa Rican ID. The bouncer laughing asked me if everyone in Costa Rica looked like me, which was very inappropriate. I continue to the next bouncer to check my bag and she is fighting with another bouncer, screaming horrible things to each other. I proceed to the last bouncer, and he just tells me to go get sober and then come back. I was SHOCKED. I had not drank anything, I told him to do me a breathalizer or whatever he wanted to prove that I was not sober. Like 3 bouncers cornered me and just RUDELY told me to go get a walk. I was kicked out for absolutely no reason, even after I paid my ticket.

HORRIBLE!! the bouncers were beyond rude! it was like they had something against me (idk if racially motivated, i'm asian). the other ppl in line looked like they were one drink away from passing out while i was just tipsy, yet the bouncer told me to "walk it off" OUT OF HIS SIGHT. i am female and new to london so i would rather not walk around at night alone, so i tried to stay in the far side of the alley. the bouncer literally walked up to me and told me to take the turn and get out of his sight essentially.
someone was asked to pay 50 quid for a plate of drinks that he caused the waitress that was carrying it around to spill (there was a literal moshpit and the woman was still trying to manoeuvre her way around the crowd). he paid, but still got kicked out??
i got vodka shots from two bartenders, one charged me 7 the other 8. and hello, 7 pounds for a half empty shot of vodka??
when i left the club, i was just minding my own business walking away normally, yet some other bouncer still had to make a point and tell me to get out "their" street. well, yeah, if you want me to get out of your sight let me walk?
anyway, rude, disrespectful bouncers thinking they own the entire street and ridiculously high prices

Disgusted by the way bouncers at this club treat people. After seeing a bouncer dragging a man with force, my friend asked why? They responded ‘because we want to bully them’ and laughed. Then I lost my boyfriend for a while to find he was taken outside to which we were all confused about. We tried asking another bouncer if he could come in as he was far from too drunk. This man was reluctant. He said that we needed to find who took him out to resolve this issue. We found the man and after the bouncers whispered to each other, the man who took my boyfriend out completely denied it, despite my friend witnessing it himself. All the other bouncers stood up for the other bouncer and straight up lied. Been reading other reviews and seen the same sort of stuff and far worse.

Absolutely horrible and rude bouncers. Me and my friend bought tickets worth £20. We left our hotel sober and when we arrived at the club the 2 rude bouncers refused us entry. They said my friend was “too drunk”, we returned 30 mins later and was still refused. We spoke to others around and they seemed to be having the same problem. I found the bouncers extremely disrespectful. Pls do not bother going to this club it’s not worth it and you will waste your money. Very nasty and aggressive security just avoid this place!!

the night started bad when we were id’d about 10 times before going in by rude bouncers. They kept on scratching on our ids asking me what car i passed my test in to check it wasn’t fake for about 5 minutes then called another one over who kept on scratching on my real id. when we were let in we got a drink and my drink had a fly in it which they did replace for free. the staff in the club were nice but the bouncers weren’t. good music. however we (two drunk 18 year old girls) got kicked out by the bouncer and ended up wondering the streets of london by ourselves with them giving no care for our safety. the toilets were appalling. overall bad club and do not recommend for a night out.

You need to do something about your staff, look at all these reviews! The staff bully, shout at and intimidate customers, I know many people who have been put off going back, including the 9 people I went with. It’s a shame as the club was great, it’s just the staff who ruin the atmosphere and have 0 customer service skills. In particular there was this one woman with shorter hair managing the queue who my party had assumed did not work there, as she was out of control, screaming her head off as if on a rampage. It was a huge shock to realise she was screaming at both her fellow staff members and customers, who were all clearly intimidated - a really bad look for the company. This woman clearly has anger issues and I feel bad for her colleagues for having to work with her. Another lady doing the stamps inside was incredibly rude. We nearly left before we’d even got inside, and we personally had no problems, we had just seen how horrifically other customers had been treated. You NEED to sort this out! Send your staff on customer service courses if you cannot replace them, this is SO bad!

Fabulous All Inclusive Five Star Clubbing Experience.
Falling over myself to know where to start, have been to this brill venue a number of times over the years, on so many levels you tick all my boxes.
When celebrating my 63rd Birthday weekend and taking advantage of the Dalston Roof Park Saturday afternoon warm up combo ticket with XOYO, yet again I felt so comfortable in this no attitude venue, you so can be yourself by what you wear (more often personally very little!) and how you dance.
To highlight just how inclusive, more recently I met Susan wearing a glamourous sequin dress, for eight years this 'lady' has been coming to the club with the full support of his wife.
XOYO is one of the very few clubs that offers a DJ residency and is a great attraction, The Blessed Madonna and Dimitri From Paris have always blown me away.
Offering two rooms with the main attraction downstairs (I love the raised stage where you can also boogie) this venue also has the added appeal of 'Less is more' some clubs which have multiple rooms is not always an advantage.
The ground floor smaller room usually has an all night DJ, with plenty of chillout area seating, so often lacking elsewhere. Catching up with the fab HI-FI Sean in this room after so long was a great joy.
DJ Joshua James an XOYO regular, your sets are mind blowing.

If you buy a ticket to a concert do they kick you out after the show is over or can you stay for the regular club night afterwards?

Hiya! I’m going to see Young M.A at XOYO on 21st aug. Does anybody have anymore info? Like start times-finish times, line-up, drink prices on a Tuesday night? We’re coming from Cheshire so don’t really know what to expect as ‘Average London drink prices’
Also, any tips on where to stay close by?

Is XOYO strictly over 21’s? Im buying denis sulta tickets for my friends birthday for the 26th of January, and she’s 21 and I’m 20, turning 21 in 3 months, but i’m not booking flights over to london and tickets if i’m going to get refused at the door... does anyone know how strict they are ?
