Glad I went but probably won't go again.
My 2 year old did enjoy the visit, especially the cave with the lights in the floor and the sounds. However, its is expensive for what is on offer and the areas look rather tired and could do with a thorough spruce up. There was a large group of primary school children visiting, I do realise that this is probably where they make their money off peak, but the garden area was completely taken over and the discrepancy in size between a toddler and the older children made it feel unsafe to use it at the same time so we missed that part of the visit. The loos could also definitely do with an update.

    Definitely go
My kids , 3 & 1, loved it there’s two floors filled with things to do, we paid for the additional experience, which unlocked a whole new playing area. We weren’t able to go outside because of the weather but my kids weren’t bored at all, unlike soft play it’s pure imaginative play with very cool props. It’s walking distance from Westfield too.

Area more for older kids rather than toddlers
I thought this place was more suited to older children who is learning or can read books and want to explore creativity and pretend play already dressed up in costumes. I don’t feel it’s suited for toddlers as it has pencils scattered everywhere and wouldn’t be safe if they ran around holding it in their hands and fell. However the atmosphere was nice and there were two floors, the ground floor and first floor which kids can explore. The outside was small but the treehouse was lovely and I noticed it had a big xylophone and chime to interact with.

I felt so compelled to write a review after reading the previous before. My son (19 months) and I went on a Monday. It was very quiet. We pre booked and selected the 1 free story and the box rocket experience. I made sure my expectations were low- after reading the terrible reviews below. I couldn’t have been more surprised. Firstly the staff do so much to create a welcome and enjoyable experience. The first story was in a cozy room with sensory toys and lights. Our trip started off perfectly. We then went to explore the ground floor playground area- which was brilliant fun for a toddler. Running around exploring- penguins, arts and crafts, sounds, music. We were lucky and they told another story in the play area which was brilliant. We explored the outdoor play area which I also found fantastic. We ate lunch- which you can bring your own. A big plus as so many don’t allow that. We went off to our box rocket session which was just brilliant. The little area you explore was so detailed and something. We had never experienced before My son was everywhere. By that stage it was nearly 1pm and I need leave to let my son have a nap. We did not want to go. We made a quick dash for the second play area on the 1st floor and could have spent a while up there too with a slide and other arts and crafts. I was gutted to leave as we hadn’t planned to stay for long after reading the reviews. Personally it’s probably not an all day thing, but there is plenty to keep little ones amused especially toddlers. I cannot recommend this place enough. We look forward to coming back!

I booked via they're website but have not received a confirmation email. I have emailed them and received no response and the only other way to contact them is through an expensive phone number.

This is an indoor play area with props dotted around to inspire imaginative and creative play. Great idea but the place is very small, the props tired looking, and there wasn't very much for my kids to get inspired by. The were lots of craft stations dotted around but only one was actually kitted up. We booked a story telling session and that was great, the kids loved it. But this was at an additional cost. This was the only thing that made the visit worthwhile but you add it onto the expensive base ticket, it just wasn't worth it. I really don't recommend coming here.

The place(considering it was for little ones was rather dirty,I thought. The whole place could do with an enormous clean! The penguins which the children were hugging were filthy.Overpriced for what it offered.Disappointing overall.

Took or 11 months and 3,5 year sons here on a quite Monday afternoon and they loved it. It wasn’t busy at all, so they could take all the time to okay and explore.

At three o’clock, we went to the Box Rocket, which was very nice. As we are Dutch, our oldest son could practice his English and did a great job in understanding.

I honestly don’t understand the negative reviews. You come to this place to learn and tell stories. The playground is a bonus, but if it’s just a playground you want you’re probably better of going to the adjacent Westfield Mall and let your children play there.

Probably good for 2-3 year olds but out little one was 4 and I felt she was too old for it. The lack of recognisable characters probably didn’t help. For £30 for a family of 3 it was an expensive waste of time when she would have had a better time at a local soft play for £3.50

My husband & I took our granddaughter aged 3 who enjoyed the place. She liked the story telling sessions. The story tellers were entertaining & were able to grab the kid’s attention as well as getting them to actively participate.
Overall it’s an ideal place with different activities with an outdoor playground which is also good for hide & seek as it has small bushes to hide.
There are outside picnic tables & chairs which we made use of as it was sunny.
The cafe has a selection of food & refreshments and the staff throughout were great.
My only negative comment is the entrance fees which I found expensive as you have to pay for each adult as well as the child. Although we’re from London, we don’t live in Newham where residents apparently get a discount. I find that a little unfair.
