Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fabulous; boat ride. Service , dinner and music; the appearance in approaching the boat was a little questionable, but once we got on the boat, it was a fabulous night. Definitely a must would do it again.

We chose this trip to celebrate our daughter’s 25th birthday. We experienced some difficulties finding the pier bit where extremely impressed with how the cruise company handled everything.

I said above so I could see everything more clearly. I think everybody enjoyed all the different tea sandwiches that we had on this cruise. Downstairs. They had a DJ singing in a lot of people liked him but what I heard I didn't really care for. There was not much history to see on this cruise, but I'm still glad I did it

The buses were rerouted several times, because of protestors, which was not the fault of the tour company. We received an e-mail before we went that some of the stops would be closed. However, that seemed to change, by the minute, and no one told us, we weren’t going to the Cathedral. So, after three hours, we didn’t get to where we wanted to go. We would have gotten off much earlier if we had been kept apprised of the changed route.

Also, be aware that the busses are not heated (or at least ours wasn’t).

We enjoyed an evening cruise on the River Thames and the views were spectacular. Seeing the Tower Bridge and London Eye in lights is highly recommended.

I booked the murder mystery dinner cruise for my friend’s birthday. The information on the booking confirmation was clear and easy. When we arrived it was a bit difficult to work out exactly where to wait but we then saw a sign saying to wait there until staff came.
We were then boarded quickly and very efficiently taken to our table. I had stated that I don’t eat fish or seafood and our host pointed out the different starter for me. I was very pleased when the main course came that they hadn’t given me the vegetarian option as I do eat meat so that was really well organised.
The actors wandered through the cabin and chose people to take part, my friend was asked to play a part which she was very happy about.
The actual captain of the ship did some announcements- which were very useful and amusing!
The acting was gloriously hammy and great fun and they got the dinners involved. At the end we had to work out who had committed the murder. I’m very proud to say I was the only person who guessed correctly - but no spoilers here!!
It was an amazing experience that was very well organised, very entertaining and good food all to the amazing backdrop of the river Thames at night

I recommend this service to everyone. It was a pleasant experience, you will have the most beautiful views of the city of London. It is worth it if you are in London, the entire crew on the ship is very friendly, especially Justin who can be found at Pier B in Cutty Sark

It has been an unforgettable experience taking a cruise across the river with you guys from City Cruises, I came from Seville, Spain and enjoyed it very much. I am very satisfied with the attention from the staff, the boat guide has been very funny and we had a good time, the facilities and service of the boat have been very good, they are clean and comfortable. I would like to highlight the work of Justin, the guy who is at Pier B in Cutty Sark, he has been very kind and helpful to us, he has done a good job so that we had a nice experience. Thanks guys!

The boat itself was lovely and the captains were very nice. The toilets however were gross, 3 out of 5 toilets were blocked and the smell was horrendous. The afternoon tea was stale and absolutely tiny! 4 mini sandwiches rock-solid bread between 2 people for over £50!! The wait staff were the real let down; we were sat down on a boiling hot boat for 45 minutes with no service. I got up and asked for 3 glasses of water while we waited and was told to go back to my seat by the first waitress so I had to go and ask someone else. Didn’t think a glass of tap water was such a difficult request. The afternoon tea didn’t arrive until we were on the return journey so we only had it on our table for 20 minutes before they tried to start clearing away to get you off the boat. The £12 ‘mojito’ was soda water and rum; no mint in sight and frankly in-drinkable. Don’t waste your money; go on a sight seeing tour on a boat and go get your afternoon tea somewhere else. Such a waste of money.
