Good for a Sunday Night

I had an overnight on a Sunday in London while on a connecting flight. Unfortunately, there were no West End shows that night that either interested me or had tickets available... read more

A must do activity. Who would think of leaving London without venturing out into the night to walk the steps of the infamous Jack? Adam was our Thursday guide and he was incredible. He makes you feel like you are in the moment. Not too long a walk but it does require walking. A good bargain for the price and... More

The Jack the ripper Tour was informative and interesting but, the walking element of it was not necessary in my mind. We did the tour in the dark and it was just sort of strange standing in allies while our very knowledgeable guide told us about jack the ripper and augmented his talk by passing around a notebook with rather... The guides were interesting and theatrical, engaged with the crowd. However I feel like there was not a lot said that I didn't already know, and the tour lacked atmosphere. Im not sure what I had expected, but I felt a little disappointed.

Did the walk with Adam as our guide. He was very knowledgeable, funny, friendly and easy to hear. The last point was key as there were other tours we ran into on the walk and you could hear a few struggling to speak loud enough. It was an easy walk and the time flew by. A nice touch was Adam... We took the 19:30 tour. There were a lot of people even in the drizzly weather. The guide took our £10 fee and then offered a two sided leaflet about the area for a further £1, which I thought was a not on. We were split into two groups and set off 20min late. The walk took us around the... More

Had a tour with Phil, tour said it would be one and half hours on visit London.com - it lasted 1 hour. really boring, he had a folder with pictures from the internet, didn't learn anything, he dragged it out by telling jokes - don't waste your money

We took the daytime tour - our first walking tour of London. The meeting place was easy to find and the Guide was welcoming and gave us time to grab a coffee at the Tower Tram. A great mix of people on the tour. Which lasted about 90 minutes taking in key locations. Ending in Spitalfields it was a fascinating... More

I had an overnight on a Sunday in London while on a connecting flight. Unfortunately, there were no West End shows that night that either interested me or had tickets available. Thus, this waking tour looked like the best thing to do on a Sunday eve. Since there are no advance reservations for this walking tour, group size can end... More

The walk we joined was very busy, but the guide was excellent at acknowledging this and took it into account during the whole talk. Do not join this walk if you expect to visit all the sites in the case as they are no longer available to visit but, the guide did explain very well why we were stopping the... More
