Came here on Sat 7th Jan for the late show. Tried to get tickets for the night before but was sold out. We booked there and then for the saturday night. Brilliant evening, all of the acts were great but the compere Jimmy McGhie was fantastic. Drinks are reasonable prices for central London. We sat in the front row and... More

The customer service was impeccable. We had booked tickets last minute on the day and therefore got unreserved seats which is completely understandable. However, just before the interval my girlfriend started feeling unwell. Within the interval we asked a member of staff if we could move seats to some on the end of an aisle incase she needed to leave... More

What a great way to enjoy a Friday night out. The compère, Jimmy Magee, was the best act, so was pleased to hear him ab-lib his way around the crowd. Was even funnier to be one of the audience he interacted with. The 4 other comics ranged from very good to good. Seating is very tight, but this did allow... More

Celebrated my 20th Birthday here and had a great time. Some people had a fight and the police had too be called but the show was still good!

Went on New Years day for the improve show. Hilarious. Josie Lawrence was brilliant. Took our 18 year old son who laughed from the start to the finish. Get there early if you want to pick your seats. Highly recommend this for a great night out.

Wonderful evening with the Comedy Store players. Love the improv evenings...Josie is always fab at the singing challenges. That's not to take anything away from the rest of the team who are also fantastic! I would give it excellent apart from the fact the soft drinks are soooooo expensive!

We visited the comedy store over the Christmas period on a Thursday. Doors open at 6.30pm for the 8 show and there was already a queue forming down the street. Most people it seemed were picking up tickets from the box office at the bottom of the stairs. We had printed tickets and were told to go straight in so... More

I've heard of the comedy store from a few people and finally managed to visit. The venue, may be a bit dated but certainly has it charm, the bar service was fast despite being a full house, the atmosphere was lively without being too rowdy and the comedy spot on. They had "the comedy store players" performing improv, I've never... More

Always fancied visiting as I grew up in the late 70's/early 80's when alternative comedy started, so feels like this is the home of alternative comedy. Was surprised how small it was, went on Sunday night to the improvision night, Paul Merton was funny, you never know who's on that night, so always different. Good value, get early for a... More

My husband and I were at a bit of a loose end on the Friday night of our short weekend break in London and happened upon the Comedy Store. They had a cancellation so we were able to get tickets for the half seven show. The compere, Mandy Knight was saucy but so funny and fantastic at engaging and improvising... More

Staying in Trafalgar Square / Embankment

Neighbourhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
