Just wanted to thank Emma at the comedy store for her great customer service skills. Due to unforeseen circumstances I wasn't able to attend on the night when I should have been there with my friends . Emma helped me out and thanks for that. My 5 friends did attend and all agree, they had a great night. 6 comedians... More

We went for an improv evening and lucked on a night where there was a really good mix of performers. Drinks are served in plastic cups obviously to avoid them being lobbed at substandard acts, but this, together with the largely fried/ deep fried food menu does make the place feel a little on the tacky side. But a good... More

We visited the comedy store on 17th March 2017 for the 11PM show. I didn't recognise any of the acts so went in with an open mind. Tickets were £17 including a booking fee. The venue is pretty basic with seat arranged in rows around the stage, the front row being very close. What a great way to round off... More

Great night out to the comedy store - we had books to see Imran Yusuf. However realised he was hosting and there would be other comedians presenting their pieces. It was about two hours long with an interval, about 5 comedians came on and did approx 15 minutes each. Each comedian was different enjoyed all of them thoroughly (except one... More

Arrive for happy hour for cheaper drinks: certainly the cheapest drinks we had in central London on this trip. We also ate there before the show: pub grub which I thought was really good value. The improv show was terrific from start to finish: about two hours plus a 10 minute break for another drink. Lots of laughs. Amazingly clever... More

A really fantastic night out for £20, you laugh like you haven't for a long time. I would say it can be quite offensive if you haven't got a broad mind but I think they say a lot of things people are thinking but afraid to say. It's just great

So funny! Three of us went and all thought the comedians were really funny and had varied styles. Would definitely recommend it, not too expensive either. Will definitely be going again when I next visit London

Having visited The Comedy Store in Manchester last year, we were keen to try the version in the 'big smoke'. I ordered standard tickets directly from The Comedy Store's website a few weeks before our visit for the late show on a Saturday Night. The show started at 11 and doors open at 10. We got to the venue (so... More

Staying in Trafalgar Square / Embankment

Neighbourhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
