We attended the winter festival on boxing day. We were in the festival enclosure. We had seats in the stand even though it was busy. There were plenty of bars and places to eat, toilets were fine although there did seem to be queues at the ladies. We managed to park fairly close at the station for free and had... More

If you really love racing, then maybe all that follows will make you yawn. However, once again I've visited a race event only to find it mired in the 1970s. Catering that can't cope with the volumes of people, toilet queues a mile long, parking a parsec away and extortionate prices for anything inside. Also, you don't really get much... More

A fabulous venue to dine and watch horse racing, the menu is small in choice but excellent in quality and value. The waitress service is first class. Tha atmosphere is both relaxed and comfortable.

I went to the antique market in September...I believe its the first and last Tuesday of each month. It opens very early - 06:00 I think! I turned up at around 09:30 and it was in full flow. Hundreds of stalls both inside and outside packed full of everything you can think of! Loads of antique furniture and so many... More

I went to Kempton Park on one of the few days where they allow free admission; in the past, I was biased towards Kempton (always preferred Sandown) but after my visit, I have started to take a liking towards Kempton. The grandstand is vast and spacious and allows for great views of the winning post and of the home straight.... More

Good fun! Company 'do' in Desert Orchid suite overlooking finish line with balcony at front and parade ring at rear. Service good, with private tote betting. Food not bad. Suite a little tired and could do with a make over. Nice day out.

Excellent atmosphere and good facilities made this, my first race meeting, a rare delight. Concreted walkways to all major areas enabled the use of heels and the whole course was well maintained and clean. I frequented the course bookmakers and was rewarded by breaking even on the day. Food and drink were plentiful and, if one kept away from alcohol,... More

Toilets were old and some locks didn't work, they were midly clean but were outside on the forecourt, but the racecourse was lovely and spacious.

This market each Thursday morning includes clothes, flower, food & fruit, cosmetics, food stalls etc and I particularly like the very good value plant stalls. Ample free parking.

I was once a regular at this West London racecourse, which had a reputation as "the Londoners' course'' and hosted often high-quality Flat and National Hunt racing throughout the year. Along with many others I was dismayed when the flat turf track was discontinued and replaced by the 'all-weather'. This meant losing the straight sprint course and the lovely Jubilee... More
