Many places in and around this area. Some many things to see and do, places to sit and just people watch or stop off at a cafe for a coffee or tea.

While staying in London again, we had taken along walk through the West End theatre district.
Eventually we headed north and found ourselves strolling along High Holborn heading for the Chancery Lane tube station.
This was our second walk along High Holborn, having undertaken a similar walk during a previous stay in London. Not a lot had changed since our last visit. The traffic along the one-way roadway was still extremely heavy, contributing to poor air quality. There are a number of handsome buildings located along the road, some of them housing shops, cafes and restaurants.
While it was an interesting walk, there really is not a great which may be of any great interest to tourists, located along this roadway!

High Holborn is the street segment between Holborn and Chancery Lane Tube Stations in the Holborn area of the city. While not much of a feature attraction, there are some interesting attractions to see nearby.
You can see the historic Staple Inn and Gray's Inn on this street, near the Chancery Tube Station. Additional historic attractions can be found at Lincoln's Inn Fields just a couple blocks off High Holburn. This is where you can find Lincoln's Inn and the very impressive Sir John Soane's Museum, one of our personal favourite museums in the city.

Visited the spa today with another lady for shellac pedicures as we wanted it as part of a day out to London, really good setting, massive place, hair, spa, nails, and cafe plus shop. Pedi's were good, sat side by side which is what we wanted. overall nice experience. Shellac pedi - £43 ea. approx 45 mins. Area of Covent Garden excellent for any tourists, and set not far from central attractions.

It is a very cozy cafe! The atmoshere is nice and there are many tables so it s quite good for doing some work on your laptop too!

There are attractions for people such as the British Museum, interesting streets like Lamb’s Conduit Street and some small streets and passages; however, High Holborn is very busy with workers. If you are in the area during the week, avoid before and avoid office hours along with lunch-time; the footpath and roads are always busy (same applies with public transport), especially at lunch and after work; even worse before work when everyone almost starts at the same time.

Interesting looking buildings but in a city full of them I wouldn't say that this was worth a detour unless you are walking past anyway.

As i was in London all day i went for several little wanders around our wonderful city.Many parks are dotted around the Bloomsbury/High Holborn areas which became very busy during the lunch period.The thing i enjoyed about High Holborn was the little ''arcade''areas with people eating and drinking and boutique style shops in the back streets....High Holborn is,like Oxford Street,a little chaotic for my liking....and the amount of people i had to dodge whilst they text walked toward me carelessly only added to the everyday challenges.....full of typical London atmosphere.....but not for me.visited 24th August 2017.

A busy area, with loads of shops bars and things to do, minutes away from Covent Garden and Leicester Square. Close to the tube, 2 stops from kings cross.
