The clear round show on Friday was really well run. The lady who greeted us at the door made us feel welcome and everyone I spoke to was very friendly. The timetable was clear and everything ran on time. It was really nice that there was an instructor in the ring helping the riders out and allowing them to start again if they messed up. We will definitely be back for the next one, thank you! 😊

When I started riding at this school, I felt welcomed at ERS. All the staff are very friendly and helpful and willing to teach beginners that have never ridden a horse or pony before all the way to advanced riders that wish to go into national competitions. There is a step-by-step course that gives all ages lots of information on how to ride, groom, muck out, help out in the stables and even lead horses. It has now been a year of riding for me and I have enjoyed every single lesson that I took and I still take them. You learn to ride the most difficult ponies and horses, but still have fun with them. I am now a leader and have great fun working in the stables, riding, leading and most of all having a chat with the friendly staff! I would highly recommend this to ALL ages : please try it out!

My visits to Ealing Riding School are always the highlight of my week. The team are all amazing, well-trained and helpful, the horses are very well-trained and good with an inexperienced rider, and great for more advanced riders too, from what I have seen. And it is a very pleasant setting, it feels more like the country than London. I would highly recommend this.

I took a hack at Ealing Riding School in December and would not recommend them. The hack was cut short, meaning that we only rode for 35 minutes (we paid for a hour). We were told that we could ride on the common, which turned out to be too muddy so the whole ride was around residential roads, in walk with a few very short trots. I am a very experienced rider and having made the riding school aware of this was shocked to be led for the duration. They had clearly not taken my experience into account and being led made the whole experience very tedious. I tried to complain afterwards and was met with point-blank refusal to refund any of the cost of the ride, even to reduce the amount paid down to the correct amount for 35 minutes. Very disappointing and I will not be returning.

I started coming to Ealing Riding School in the Easter of 2016 and have continued riding every Sunday and the occasional weekday. I never rode a horse before coming to ERS and even though I am an over 50's Gent they have continued to help and encourage me all the way. The staff do not just teach for the sake of it but they encourage the students to progress into all aspects of the equestrian world. With the aid of Jess and Kathleen I have completed my 1st ever showjumping competition with great success. If anyone in the centre or the West of London would like to learn to ride(whatever age or sex you are) I would wholeheartedly recommend ERS. But be aware that after a few months you will become a vary large part of the ERS extended family😁 River
