Been coming here for years primarily for the constantly changing range of mainly interesting beers which is where the main interest lies for myself and friends but unfortunately some twit has decided to promote the ET as some poor version of a disco!! Playing ultra loud, badly thought out choices of music which can never appeal to everyone's taste. Or perhaps that's their raison d'etre; to turn the ET into a trashy 'nite club' ?......Stupid, crass and such a bloody shame!

We went in for a quick beer before our train, but wish we hadn't. The beer tasted off, when this was pointed out to the barmaid she was aggressive and rude. Refused to swap it so total waste of money as I wasn't going to risk an upset stomach. Obviously relies on passing trade so no incentive to supply a drinkable pint or satisfy the customers. I've never met a ruder barmaid.
