We were in London for the Chinese new year celebrations and did a Pub crawl of Sam Smiths Pubs on Saturday. One of the pubs we visited was the Princess Louise which serves a good pint of Old Brewery Bitter at £3-50 cheap considering London outrages prices. The pub was full but not uncomfortable and had a nice friendly ambiance.... More

I have visited this pub several times, whenever in London. The location was good and the atmosphere relaxed. Nicely decorated. Prices of beer and wine are better than in some other pubs.Through London experience

This pub is oozing Victorian decor...some lovely snugs shielded away with dark wood surrounds. It had a roaring fire on this visit which was welcoming! Samuel Smiths range of ales on offer.

personally, I find it silly to say which pub is no.1, 2, etc. It's all personal opinion. For instance, I'd put the Cheshire Cheese at no.1 and The Cittie at 2! Anyway, without doubt, this is one of the great London pubs and a Must Visit. It has a fantastic old bar, lots of panelled / etched glass partitions (... More

We love the Princess Louise. Great value for money and always a nice crowd in this traditional grade II listed Victorian pub. We like sitting in the booths around the island bar and taking in the jovial atmosphere. The organic lager and chocolate stout are just fabulous! beware - the toilets are not for the faint-hearted (even the ladies seriously... More

The Princess Louise is the second best pub in London, right behind its brother, The Red Lion on Kingly Court. Best beers in London, best atmosphere in London. 2nd best pub in London!
