Went to Afrobeat gig. Music was terrible. Venue was overpacked. Cloakroom queue was ridiculous... and then £3 per item. Which is a joke. I paid £25 for a ticket for a gig and hated the experience so much I left after about an hour. Will never return.

So happy venues like this still exist as many have been knocked down or turned into something else. We went to see Black Star Riders play here and this was my first time at this venue. Good sound and easy to view the stage downstairs & up. Enough bars & service was good. A good night had by all.

I've been to Kentish Town Forum for two metal gigs, both times stood downstairs. I like the venue. It's a bit grungy and I much prefer it over the massive London venues. It's just a few minutes walk from Kentish Town tube station and there are some pubs dotted around the area. I've felt safe walking around the area both... More

The venue is a couple of mins from Kentish Town tube station. I have been to loads of gigs at this venue that holds around 2000 folks. Downstairs standing and upstairs unreserved seating. Just came back from Stiff Little Fingers there. The downstairs was totally rammed as the floor standing sold out in advance. We sneaked upstairs to comfy front... More

Saw The Pretty Reckless here this month and was pretty impressed with the venue. It’s nice and wide so you get decent views wherever you are, aided by that it’s split level with the back being a few feet higher than the front too. Long-ish queue for the cloakroom, but went down fairly quickly, £3 per item which I guess... More

The Forum is a legendary love music venue. I have seen bands that weren't that noisy play here, and that's fine, but really it's made for rock bands. It's one of my favourite mid sized venues to see a dose of noise! There is a really wide stage which can been seen really well from pretty much everywhere in the... More

Sham 69 headlined the gig with the UK Subs in support. For those of a certain age this was a gig not to be missed. The forum is a great venue, a proper venue with great sound.Great view of the large stage where ever you stand. The bar was a tad pricey but you kinda expect that. Jimmy & Charlie... More

Three of us saw Kula at the Forum. Seen them all over London, but we have never been to this venue. Easy to find, security staff very pleasant and bar prices not too bad. Acoustics not the best and the crowd were rather pre-Christmas beer-ed up which would explain the state if the Gents. All in all, a good night... More

This is a medium size venue that is a short walk from Kentish Town underground station. There is downstairs standing and upstairs unreserved seating. You get a good view from upstairs and the music is still loud. The seats are padded benches and have lots of room. Beware the bar though - we should have been alerted by its emptiness!... More
