Neighbourhood: St. James's
Perennially fashionable since the days of Henry VIII, the aristocratic “Clubland” of St James's is a premier destination for high end craft and bespoke design. Here you’ll lose count of the Royal Warrants (which indicate that the Royal Family patronizes the establishment) seen in shop front windows, even during a short stroll to bordering Green Park or St James’s Park. With the brightly lit and constantly buzzing junction of Piccadilly Circus at its northeast corner and none of Central London too far away, this is an surprisingly central and accessible part of town, especially given its prosperous demeanor.

I have returned to Turnbull and Asser a few times. They have made shirts for me. This time ,I just wanted to browse. I was so well taken care of and happened to hit a great sale. It was a treat to be back.
A wonderful haberdasher on Jeremyn Street.

T&B make the best shirts in the world. They are still made in England, using best cotton and mother-of-pearl buttons. Expensive? Not really for what you get. Worth every penny. And a steal during their sales. I shelled out less than for some high-street brands where you mostly pay for expensive marketing. Shop may seem intimidating from the outside, but staff are all very welcoming and friendly. Ask to see Elvis, he‘s the best! Nice selection of underwear, and other items you may need. Churchill shopped here. The Royal Household still does.

Never ever again! Hands off! Most horrible experience ever! They made a damaged Shirt for 400 Euro ++ and refuse to replace it. I am sending it to Italy to be repared by my own tailor on my own costs. Don't ever buy here and take your money to a company that worships customers and their money! HANDS DOWN!!!!!!!

A big shout-out to Michael, store manager; Alain; and Nick who helped me with my purchases. I visited the Turnbull & Asser store on Jermyn Street on December 27, 2017. It's a cozy shop with a basement and old-world paneling throughout. The sales staff was helpful without being intrusive and always polite. The quality of their shirts is world-renowned with a reputation for excellence and long wear. I've been wearing them for over 38 years and have never been disappointed.
The day following my visit to the store, I noticed a suspicious charge on my bank statement for about $400 from Turnbull. When I inquired about it, Michael, the store manager made a quick phone call to a near-by shoe shop where I bought a pair of shoes the previous day. It somehow happend that the charge showed up as Turnbull. He was patient in explaining the charge and said that it happens often. When he called the shoe shop, he was able to verify that the charge was indeed for the shoes. I was completely satisfied with the explanation. I appreciated the time he took to research the matter. Turnbull knows how to take care of their customers.
Thank you for making my shopping experience a pleasant one. I'll definitely be back on my next trip to London.

Visit this shop with an open mind and wallet. They are not holders of a Royal Warrant for nothing. If you like your shirts made in England ( Gloucester) shop here. The range is fantastic, but expect to pay over £200 per shirt. Ties and pocket squares are without compare. The staff are full of knowledge so don't be afraid to ask them. Bespoke is also available and the options are only constrained by your imagination.

Much to my son's delight, I introduced him to Turnbull & Asser.
He enjoyed it thoroughly. The service was impeccable and the shirts were exquisite.
I think he became a customer for life on the spot.
He (we) will be back soon!

Nice experience, off the path away from the tourists, where the locals and royals shop. Nice staff and by far the nicest selection of men's items. A real piece of royalty! Indulge yourself!
