The one thing my friend wanted to get was a really great bottle of perfume on this trip. We should have started here. We visited Les Senteurs after going to the usual places but this was definitely worth going out of our way. She told the salesperson the type of fragrance she tends to go for and the price range... I took my best friend to buy a fragrance for her birthday & we had the most fabulous time. Les Senteurs is a delightful escape from the city, a luxurious bubble of beautiful smells and attentive service. The staff - James and Clare - are hugely knowledgeable and have a true passion for fragrance. They talked us through and encouraged... More

My daughter Melanie bought this experience for my birthday. We visited last Saturday afternoon - had lovely cakes and bubbles, with a good group of other ladies. Odette was so interesting - telling us details of famous perfumes from the decade before the First World War. We were given samples to smell and the stories behind some of these iconic... More

Let me make one thing clear, they are kind of distributors for perfumery and do not make any fragrances. They mainly sell perfume from France and Paris. They have good return policy. They also readily give samples to make decision.

Called in to ask about a perfume for someone else. Was apprehensive based on recent reviews about less than friendly service however, was pleased to be very well treated. Was given a sample for my friend for free and although I only bought a candle for myself did not feel I was being assessed on possible budget. A spray (... More

I imagine this is an offshoot of the perfume shop at Seymour Place where you can experience more than two hours of being introduced to vintage perfumes of a particular decade. The decade today was the 1970s and it was fascinating to see how tastes in perfumes have changed - several people remarked that perfumes which they had originally worn... More

This was a beautiful shop but our welcome was offhand and dismissive. We obviously did not look or sound the part, either that or someone was in a bad mood. We were also checked out for budget, immediately off putting. Shame, I would never revisit and as in pretty woman we did have a considerable budget to spend had we... More

I visited this Shop in Elizabeth Street yesterday. The door was locked and I had to ring the bell - why? I was on the point of abandoning my visit when eventually someone unlocked the door and let me in. I didn't find the staff member at all helpful especially when asked "what's your budget?" which I thought was a... More

If you are VERY very interested in perfume amd have a lot of money, it'd be worth going I didn't feel welcomed there . The clerk asked me of my budget limits.

Staying in Belgravia

Neighbourhood Profile
Home to the vast majority of embassies and diplomatic residences in London, sophisticated and upscale Belgravia also boasts a wealth of luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and some of the city’s most stroll worthy lanes. While the prices here are high, taking a leisurely stroll through the streets of picturesque and elegant white stucco houses is free. Hyde Park and the Buckingham Palace Gardens are only a stone's throw away to the north, and some of Europe’s best shopping is nearby as well.
