Went here with a group of the girls for a birthday. We got the VIP tickets and had seats downstairs. Funny compare, incredible acts(Storm Hooper...just wow!) And a really hot guy! Drinks were reasonably priced. Overall a really enjoyable evening. Wish it had lasted a bit longer though.

Good effort, fun, but the compare made it seem very amateur. The acts were good, there were seven performances that evening: four competition entrants and the three judges. The Burlesque-factor competition format was cheesy in the extreme. And the Best-Dressed audience member competition was completely cringeworthy. The event takes over another venue for three hours, then the venue reverts to the club that it is. The venue is what it is, which is not a luxury burlesque venue by any stretch of the imagination. After the burlesque finished we stayed on and had a great night, though being the Shadow Lounge it is a 100% male gay bar. Not everyone's cup of tea but we (M/F) met another couple there and had a great evening. Worth a visit but don't set your sights too high.

Went in November for the first time, the early Saturday evening show 6:30pm, show ends 8:00pm and left at 8:30pm. Unfortunately the venue was changed to a bar/club due to a problem at Madame Jo Jo's, @ 2 minutes away which was a shame as I was looking forward to seeing the venue. The venue however was very conducive to Burlesque and the show was marvellous if you like burlesque. Very cheeky, good variety, great costumes and acts, and better than many other's I have seen in the past. It wasn't an event with "eating" possible so I cannot comment on the food. Prices for alcohol not too bad. The acts were also very friendly and happy to have a chat in breaks and at the end. A great night's entertainment and although a little sceptical at first as it is so famous, would definitely go again.

The show I saw with a friend this month had been moved across the street. The shows were fun and light, the girls put on a great show and the crowd was happy.

Although never been to Burlesque before & didn't know what to expect, plus when we saw the outside of venue in Soho we were a bit unsure but once inside (SL) as Madam JoJo's was out of action, we were really surprised & had a great evening, full of fun, lots of laughs, show only lasts an hour & half so anyone who has never been before it's not too long, we'll be trying one of the bigger shows next time!
