I went out after work with my manager, supervisor and the lease holders of my pub that I work in, and it was great night! Played ping pong, sat with some random people and played trivial pursuit (one of many of the board games in the cabinet downstairs) whilst a group of other people sang whilst one of there friends... Had a lovely Saturday afternoon here with a group of friends. The ping pong table provided plenty of hilarity, and the staff were lovely. Will definitely return. It's quite dark inside decorated with lots of wood, so I prefer it as an option for autumn and winter rather than a sunny day.

A good beer selection, an understanding of alcohol diversity. Service is a bit Shorditch-esque however I like it. Great place for a beer

A basic no frills little bar with a superb selection of beers and spirits from various independent local producers…I believe that the make a real effort to source and support independent producers across the UK. Nice!! Despite not serving food they do let you bring in take-aways from the italian restaurant across the road. Cool bar with a chilled vibe... More

Staying in Clerkenwell

Neighbourhood Profile
Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site of an ancient meat market which remains in operation today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough time wondering through the area's maze of streets and you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky models passing between Clerkenwell's handful of fashion houses. Far outnumbering the models are craftspeople and designers, many of them are more than happy to welcome visitors into their studios and showrooms.
