I like this pub but I don't understand why the staff were wearing tee-shirts expressing their loathing for the Conservative party the day after the election. I've never seen behaviour like this in any other pub I've been to.

A totally great local pub and the Guinness is stored and served to perfection. Fab Yorkshire pies and the boys in charge are great. Please don't ever change it!

Great pub with screen in Garden. Got Deliveroo to bring great food and washed it down with Beer and Wine. Atmosphere good and all credit to the management for making a sporting event enjoyable . Thanks Stuart Le Gassick

This is a proper pub selling proper beer - don't expect fancy fixtures and fittings or slot machines. There is a good range of craft beers on draft and they change regularly. We have visited on several occasions and enjoyed the relaxed and friendly atmosphere....More

The Eagle is exactly what a traditional proper pub should be all about, not the heritage nonsense all over tourist routes in central London. A watering hole for locals and a friendly welcome for visitors. There is one of the best selections of craft ales...More
