Proper pub with great ales, great staff and great atmosphere. It’s the last standing bastion of a British pub, helping the community and getting to know the customers.

Old fashioned, relaxed and friendly British drinking pub! Amazing staff and friendly regulars. Cold beers and ales and sunny outside area.

This pub has the worst bar manager and staff. The regulars are a bunch of Tory supporters(very white, late 50s plus) who will only accept you if you're one of them. About 3-4 choices of ales, same for lager, very unimaginative selections. Pub looks tired,...More

I like this pub but I don't understand why the staff were wearing tee-shirts expressing their loathing for the Conservative party the day after the election. I've never seen behaviour like this in any other pub I've been to.

A great place to have a reunion and our group of Doctor Who and BBC chums had a super evening and well suited by this fabulous awarding winning ale pub.

A totally great local pub and the Guinness is stored and served to perfection. Fab Yorkshire pies and the boys in charge are great. Please don't ever change it!
