I went to this salon while a guest at the ritz for a full body massage and facial treatment. The lady who dealt with me was friendly, attentive, and welcoming putting me at ease quickly. The treatments were thorough and immensely enjoyable, carried out in a professional way. It's a little bit expensive, but not excessively so, and you get... More

The decor on upon entering the hotel was in one word Lovely! It had a beautiful feminine, light, airy, welcoming, classic, English ambience. The seating in... More

Magnificent décor, friendly and efficient staff, cakes and sandwiches absolutely scrumptious - and as much as you could possibly eat. Very special day out for myself and my daughter.

We had booked lunch but changed our minds and git us in for afternoon tea. All I can say is opulence nothing was too much trouble and they even gave me a birthday card signed by all the staff! The sandwiches, cakes, pastries and champagne just amazing.

A fabulous quintessentially English afternoon tea ritual served at The Ritz - this was an amazing treat on our wedding anniversary - one of the waiters even arranged for the pianist to play the anniversary waltz for us a truly special way to have afternoon tea.

A lovely airy space and kind attention from the hairdresser, but I was pleased I'd got an eye mask in my bag, as none were available for a wash and blow dry.

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
