Back again in the big smoke and after a day of meeting, I came back to Kings Cross Station for my journey back home. After a GnT in the GNR bar (bit pricey but decent atmosphere) I dropped into M&S to get some food and GnT for the journey home - all rather good. Remember to have some change for... More

Fast rail trip, convenient travel and commute to other cities. Very modern and organized. Why travel any other way.

visit this "Victorian" railway station. British Rail have recreated a platform 9 3/4 area complete with luggage trolley going through the wall. A good photo op!

I understand I will pay more for food in a railway station and that it is likely to be 'fast food', but this wasn't good. I am a regular traveller to and from London and fancied a burger for a change, there was sadly nothing good about mine. A cheese and bacon burger with fries, approx. £10, a small number... More

Was very impressed with the revamped railway station. We checked our bags in to storage while we went along to cambden market. Upon our return and cases collected we went to the pub upstairs which was absolutely great. Really impressive and a lot of other stations could take note

We had bought tickets for a day trip to Leeds on January 9, right, the day of the London tube strike, so after spending 2 1/2 hours on two buses (instead of 15 minutes with the tube) we arrived 11:05 (the time for our departure) at the station and did not know from which platform our train departed. Yes, we... More

I arrived on Sunday Morning ( 7.30am ) to go back North to Edinburgh from attending the 2000ad 40th anniversary celebration in Hammersmith - my mistake ( when arriving from the London Underground ) was not going to the main departure hall ,to look at the Full Displays of Departures / Arrivals - however I assumed that the Platform 2... Being a big fan of Harry Potter, this was a must do event. Platform 9 and 3/4's plays a role in every book and it was cool to see Kings Cross is an actual place. My 12 year old, who fancies herself as a Ravenclaw, couldn't wipe the smile from her face. A must see!

Now has a good selection of bars, restaurants, food outlets and shops. Central information stand. Train information display easy to read but platform information very delayed so everyone has to wait until the last minute then rush to the platform- difficult for people with disabilities and with young children. Harry Potter photos available and shop gives added interest but items... More

Got to stand in line and take a picture with the wall heading to platform 9 3/4. Although the line was quite long, it was a fun experience.

Thank ALG5
