Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Today I went on the Debauched London walking tour. It was nothing like it was advertised. There was not a single mention of brothels, cock fighting, bear baiting or gambling. Instead, our guide talked about numerous charities and donors to local hospitals and housing estates.
I am extremely disappointed to have wasted my Saturday afternoon in London on this boring tour.

We did a Harry Potter walking tour with Nic, starting in Minerva Square and ending in Leicester Square. We had our 11 year old son with us. Nic was excellent, he included lots of facts about off the beaten track London as well as facts about n visits to locations from the movies. Was so interesting and Nic was as enthusiastic as if it were his first time doing the walk. He was friendly and funny and highly entertaining, he established a total rapport with our group and made us feel as if we were the best pupils ever! He included facts n trivia about other movie locations which was an added bonus for those of us parents not as enthusiastic about Harry P. Overall a lovely experience, I would highly recommend Nic if anyone is thinking of exploring London.

Has been an amazing tour, focusing rightfully on the five victims and their lives. Respectfully told and brilliantly presented by our tour guide Jamie. An absolut must for people interested to look beyond Hollywood's interpretation of events.

We did a 2 hour „London Essentials“ free walking tour. While the tour itself and the sights covered was quite ok, our guide Theo is not recommended. Unlike other free walking tours we did, with this one the guide was anything but inspirational, he was rude zu customers and information he provided proved to be wrong. Only later did it I notice he also has other bad reviews on this platform as well. So advice: do the tour, but choose a different guide.

We did this tour today with a brilliant guide Robin (and buster the dog). We loved it. Even though I lived in London for 10 years, I never really appreciated the history and how some streets got their names.

Robin was funny and knowledgable and the 2 hours flew by.

Thank you Robin 🙏

Amazing. Simply amazing.
I attended the great fire tour conducted by Andrew as a compulsion and not as a choice.
But by the end of the tour, I was not only impressed and intrigued but also amazed by the amount of knowledge and trivia I gained.
Thorough and informative, it was extremely enjoyable.
I plan to attend more such tours. It was truly a fantastic experience!

Robin was our guide for the Great Fire, Pestilence and Plague tour, and my family and I absolutely enjoyed it! I’ve lived in London for over 2 years and I don’t think there would’ve been a better way for me to soak in the history of the city. Apart from the great fire and the plague, he also covered how famous streets got their names and also some interesting architecture trivia. It’s a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon and we’re definitely going to do the other tours they organise!

We were late by 7 minutes, and we found it hard to contact the organiser, but we were lucky enough to find the group. So I recommend reaching on time in case you don’t have the organisers contact details.

Great tour last night with our London with a Local guide Ash.
From start to finish Ash was engaging and entertaining, informative, and just super knowledgeable on his subject matter. The focus on the victims and the look in to their lives with no judgement of their background or chosen occupation - I found it refreshing and humanising.
A different way to spend a Friday night for sure but definitely worth the time.

Please note:
🖤 There is a fair amount of walking (around an hour and a half of the 2 hours) and you will be walking accross cobbled streets so do wear sensible/comfy shoes - stilletos ain't it for this sis.
🖤 You will not get a bathroom break along the way so make sure to locate one before you head over for the tour (hint, there are unisex loos just down inside the tower grounds).
🖤 If you are triggered by descriptions of violent crime you may want to skip this (I know you'd think this was obvious but...🤷‍♀️).
🖤 The tour guide is not paid for the work they do so please tip if you can

Had a lovely Royal tour with this sweet local guy Robin. It was very insightful and entertaining. He knew all the facts and funny tales around the royal family. Best thing is, it was so well organised that we arrived just on time to see the change of the guard and had a first row view thanks to the guide.
