We took this tour on a Sunday morning and it was perfect! The route was beautiful, and the guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. The pace is not difficult, and the guide always made sure nobody got left behind. During our break we stopped in Covent Garden and had the chance to look through a few of the shops. Definitely worthwhile!

We've done these tours with this company about six times now. Several tours on offer. All equally as good as each other. Guides are incredibly knowledgeable You get to see places off the beaten track you wouldn't normally see and groups don't seem to be bigger that eight. Well worth spending the three hours cycling around London. Lots of stops... More

This was by far one of the highlights of our holiday! Mark was undoubtedly an excellent tour guide; extremely funny and very informative, he made our experience that much greater! A definite MUST when in London!

Don't miss this tour. It's a great way to see London. You cover a lot more ground that when walking. I really enjoyed the tour guide who would point out lots of history and factoids whenever we'd stop. I hadn't been on a bike in about a year and found the pace to be fairly easy, but there were numerous... More

We (me and my sisters, 26,25,15) booked a bicycletour in Londen with a Dutch guide. The Dutch guide was sick, so we joined the group with an English guide. Unfortunately I forgot the guide's name, but he was great! He loves his city, knows everything, tells great story's and he was so funny! He made the tour the highlight of... More

What a shame - the Christmas Lights tour could have been so much better. It took us 90 mins to get to anything resembling Xmas lights and the tour guide was rambling about noting to what seemed like fill time. What was even more strange was that he did not stop at the obvious places for pictures of the Christmas... More

I was so very happy with the service and the sights we were able to see with the Christmas Lights Tour through The London Bicycle Tour Company. Our tour guide was Felix, and he did an incredible job watching out to make sure the whole group was able to stay together or regroup, allowing for parts being stopped by traffic... More

We selected this tour to see the Christmas sights and lights. Upon arrival we were given bikes and the guides immediately took off at full speed (perhaps giving tour riders a few minutes to warm up riding around the area would be better) No real warning was given of how PACKED the streets and sidewalks would be with people. Going... More

My wife booked this tour to see the Christmas lights around London. We ended up arriving late due to a late flight arrival, but the London Bicycle Tour Company rescheduled us for a tour that fit the remaining time in our schedule. I had some trepidation about taking a 3 hour tour through London on a bicycle, but I must... More

Staying in Southbank

Neighbourhood Profile
Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National Theatre and the Young Vic) are but a few of the reasons that Southbank is such a collectively cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and festive atmosphere. On top of all the fun stuff to do at Southbank is the opportunity to simply sit back and admire photo-op views of iconic landmarks like Parliament and St Paul's Cathedral, just on across the Thames.
