great cocktails in a real cozy atmosphere

You could almost miss this place, it's got such an unassuming front door! [Which is good for us customers because it doesn't get too crowded] I expect that will change though. I think it is an ex-police station and there are a couple of little cells off the main room for even cosier cocktails!

easily in the top 5 of Londons most preeminent cocktail bars, and i am including the likes of The Connaught...a dive bar ambience and a creative, almost molecular approach to cocktails coupled with fantastic staff means anyone stumbling in here will wonder whats hit them...its soooo good

Booked via email for a friend's visit and SO glad I did. My friend was running very late so the staff kept me company until she arrived and provided excellent service throughout the evening. The menu was amazing, the service outstanding and the whole atmosphere was fab too. I've only just discovered Knowhere Special but you can bet I'll be... More

Blink and you'll miss this subterranean bar a stones throw from Kentish Town tube station. Attentive staff see you in (you have to email to book in advance), seat you, and talk you through their drinks. They're brilliant! To be honest I don't want to spoil the surprise with the content of the cocktails, but they're delicious, and thoughtfully created.... More

Recently reopened at the very end of 2016, this place is a charming little underground oasis boasting some of the finest drinks in the area (and the competition in Kentish Town is very strong). Easy to miss unless you're looking for it, but once you've found it it will become your favourite haunt.

The bar is now back in business after it was hijacked last year by the landlord. With a new range of unique cocktails and nibbles, cosy alcoves and knowledgeable staff it is the perfect antidote to the bland surroundings of the brewery pub. I would go as far as to say that it is even an improvement on its last guise... More

Forced to close just after making it onto the Time Out London's top 10 cocktail bars last year, the guys are back in force. Still serving the winning concept of great cocktails with a little culinary surprise on the side. Make sure to get in early - if last year’s success is any indication the waiting list will swell fast..

The one time I was lucky enough to go last year made a great first impression, it was a really intimate place with exceptional drinks and I would not have hesitated to give this place 5 stars. However It's a shame that recent landlord troubles has mean't this bar was closed, hijacked and reopened. No longer the same place as... More

Went for mid week drinks with a friend after she saw this advertised in Timeout. We booked in advance as we were worried the place would be heaving, but it wasn't very busy. However I would still recommend booking a table and definitely so at the weekend due to the fact the capacity is 30 people at the most. I... More

From the intriguing entrance (with washing hanging above your head) to incredibly friendly staff, not to mention a detailed and varied cocktail menu, our time here was a delight. The bar is tiny, and so my husband and I opted to for seats at the bar itself. We tried 2 cocktails each and loved the experience. With engaging staff and... More
