Not the 'bog standard' London experience! Loo tours offers guests a practical and entertaining introduction to a lesser-known side of the city. The tour includes history, philosophy, politics, and of course a healthy dose of toilet humour. Most routes last under 2 hours and always finish somewhere where those inclined can have a drink with the guide and continue to chat.

Katie Loo met us at Waterloo before taking us on a walking tour explaining some of the little known history of loos and sanitation in London.

Great fun, very informative tour. Learnt loads. Great quirky tour for Londoners like us but would be just as good for tourists as you see some some of London's highlights too. Amber was the perfect off the wall, passionate, informative and lovely tour guide.

London Loo tour which starts off at Water'loo' Station is a 'loo'vely fun, informative and lively way to spend a couple of hours. Led by American Amber Loos, who was obviously very passionate on her chosen subject. Her enthusiasm was very catching and basically we smiled for the entire tour especially being led by her with a plunger! We learnt... More

A very interesting tour. Covered all manner of 'loo'-related historical facts and stats. Enthusiastic and knowledgeable tour guide (Katie). Would highly recommend for a guided tour with a difference. We're very pleased we attended.

With a few extra days in London, I was looking for something a little different to fill my time. The Loo Tour fit the bill! I easily booked the ticket online and found the meeting place at the Waterloo Underground station with no trouble. Katie led our group of 16 to various spots of interest, including the most patriotic of... More

When my mother told me she was 'treating' me to a tour of London Loos, I was assuming that our lunch together afterwards would include a discussion about signing over power of attorney. Happily, the tour was interesting and vibrant. Amber Loo was as energetic as she was funny, as she took us on a 2 hour walk around London.... More

We were looking for something quirky to do in London. This certainly ticked the box. We had a good laugh, but at the same time it was very informative and thought provoking! Well done Rachel!

Finally got to do a tour I knew would be fun and informative - Amber -loo guided us through the history of the loo in London, and showed us so many interesting sights along the way! From a hidden urinal on a favorite busy street, to a gas lamp lit with a surprising fuel source, to interesting loo-related tidbits (now... More

Amber Loo keeps you interested and laughing for two hours. She is delightful. She walks you through history of London and the does it with tongue and cheek humor. She also has a few hilarious props. Thanks Amber Loo Regards, Michael

Staying in Southbank

Neighbourhood Profile
Southbank
Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National Theatre and the Young Vic) are but a few of the reasons that Southbank is such a collectively cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and festive atmosphere. On top of all the fun stuff to do at Southbank is the opportunity to simply sit back and admire photo-op views of iconic landmarks like Parliament and St Paul's Cathedral, just on across the Thames.
