London Food Lovers was an idea dreamt up by a couple of passionate foodies,...

London Food Lovers was an idea dreamt up by a couple of passionate foodies, who spent years exploring London’s diverse food scene. We decided to take our passion for food one step further and bring London’s unique cosmopolitan flavors to the world through Food Tours. For us, so much can be learned through food. Behind every dish, there is a story, a history, and something you can learn from each culture. We are not just tour guides, we are “food lovers” and our mission is to discover and explore London’s most interesting food offerings – and bring our clients directly to their tables.

We have a variety of tours that we offer in London:

Our Soho International Food Tour is a celebration of London's cosmopolitan flavours. This 4.5-Hour walking tour is a unique gastronomic and cultural experience, including 10+ food and drink tastings, as you share the history, cultures and stories that come with those foods. Spend a relaxing half day in a small and intimate group, eating & drinking your way through Soho's unique and diverse culinary landscape!

Our Jack The Ripper Happy Hour Tasting Tour takes you on exciting exploration of London's famous East End while you learn about one of the most famous and iconic serial killers of all time, Jack The Ripper. This tour is the only tour in London that has been designed to tell the story of Jack The Ripper as you sample a variety of tastings – some fitting with the Jack The Ripper Story and some that are local favourites in the East End. You will walk through the same streets that Jack The Ripper famously prowled, as you stop in a variety of different tasting locations - from a gin-tasting to the most famous Jewish deli in London, this tour has it all!

The London Pizza Lovers Tour explores some of London’s most creative pizza venues, as you learn about the history of pizza, how pizza came to London, and how it has become one of London’s all-time favourite and varied snacks – loved by visitors, as well as locals!

You will sample 5 different versions of Pizza in 5 very unique locations. You will hear the stories behind how these pizzas arrived in London along with a complete history of pizza and how to spot real pizza from the “fake”, tourist versions. Discover new stories and flavours that you may have never tried before and get an understanding of how our current concept of pizza came to be.

In addition to our small group tours, we also offer private and corporate tours that can be customized to meet the most particular needs and interests.

We booked the Afternoon Food and Cultural Walking Tour for a Saturday. I was contacted in advance by Sarah to confirm if we had any dietary requirements and give us the option of changing to the morning tour on the next day, due to low demand on our particular booking. Unfortunately this didn't suit us due to prior arrangements we... More

We normally try to stay away from Leicester Square and its direct surroundings but guide Maurizia showed us some really great spots and told us some wonderful stories too. And we were very good being looked after. The guide was excellent, our fellow walkers were also pleasant company. The only less experience was the waiting time for the dimsum in... More

I went for SOHO International Food Tour on a rainy Sunday. Despite the rain, we enjoyed our walking tour in SOHO. I learned a lot of about the history of the area. We tasted at various hidden restaurants and deli. Sometimes we had sat down experience. Sometimes we just stood in the street corner to have a bite. Most of... More

Our experience was not the best, but it wasn't the worst. Maybe ask who is giving the tour that day, stick to the ones the owners give. Their customerservde is were they shine. Our tour was not incredible and they went out of their way to make things right. They are honest, and passionate professionals and it was a pleasure... More

We went to several types of restaurants and an Italian deli. All the food was excellent! We got an explanation and a history lesson as well! We also stopped at a very old pub for fish and chips as well as some beer! ( loved that:) we weren't rushed anywhere, very relaxing and it was fun to get to know... More

Simply amazing. 5 hours through Soho with our guide Sarah, who was a fountain of knowledge, fun insights and humour. From unbelivable vegetarian indian to an ending in the most sinfull chocolat cafe. We tried a small italian shop with a tasting of the best ravioli I ever tried. "Fresh Mex" insteead of "Tex Mex" and much more. Amazing food... More

We did the 'Jack The Ripper Tour' with London Food Lovers and it was truly amazing. The bars we went to and the food we tried were really well chosen and they did a great job telling the story of jack the ripper in a very fascinating and exciting way. Thereby we got a really good idea of what it... More

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
