Nestled in the shadow of Battersea's iconic power station, Battersea Dogs & Cats Home is open every day and welcomes visitors to meet us and our furry friends looking for families. We have hundreds of animals onsite at any one time and, even if you aren't planning to rehome an animal, you can sniff out our cafe and gift shop and get to know more about the Home, our history and our future.

After registering with them we made several attempts of adopting a cat (no one there ever picks up the phone) and all cats ended up reserved and rehomed to someone else. Massive waste of time. Used RSPCA instead and got a cat immediately.More

It took myself and my boyfriend around half an hour to an hour I'd say! It really depends if you, like us, stay watching the cats playing for ages 🤣

Hi, thanks for getting in touch. All three of our centres are open daily for visitors but we do ask that people leave their own pet dogs at home - we have enough of them here already! :-) Thank you and see you soon!
