We explore the history the other tours ignore! THE ORIGINAL SOHO PUNK TOUR The award winning tour that examines the roots of British Punk. The Sex Pistols lived in Soho from 1975/77 and this area witnessed the birth of Punk as it spread all over the world THE STRUMMERWALK The Clash's history is entwined with the Ladbroke Grove area, this tour examines all that plus we explore Squat City W9 where squatter Woody Mellor became Joe Strummer in his earlier band the 101ers THE BOWIE'S SOHO WALK David Bowie spent 10 years in Soho trying to crack the music business until Ziggy Stardust propelled him to superstardom in 1973. We examine his evolution from Mod to Glam and the various incarnations that made him into one of the great 20th Century artists. Walk out to Winter

What better way to spend a baltic Saturday afternoon in London. Aidan is a superb host / guide and whilst all four of us are fans of The Clash the walk was as much about the social history of the barrio as it was about the only band that ever mattered. Aidan knows the area well having grown up there. The tour was full of stories about heroes ( The Clash, Mick Lynch) and villains ( George Osbourne, Kelvin Mackenzie and Cameron’s bike!!) and in between we had a good discussion about the Irish and West Indian communities in the 60s / 70s, the policing policy of the time, music venues that are no longer going and the gentrification of the neighbourhood.

All finished off with a pint in Annie’s bar. Slainte!!

Punk Rock tour

Aidan was brilliant. 2,5 hrs of non-stop information about Punk Rock. Very entertaining and worth spending a few pennies for.

Great punk tour

The tour was educational and clever.We saw emblematic buildings and venues where the punk was born .The tour man is full of energy ,archives and stories which makes the tour even worth it more.I def.recommend this experience for everyone who likes punk culture.

A fun and insightful tour

A super fun tour! It was a chilly Saturday, but the fun facts and incredible attitude from the guide kept us warm! I have always enjoyed visiting places of the greats as it helps to put their lives in perspective and our tour guide really created a great insight of how 'it would have been'. Music is more than just sound, and the context really matters and this tour showed that about Bowie and his decades.

An excellent journey back in time.

As as a fan of The Clash for 45 years, The Strummer Walk was always an attractive proposition, but the 2hrs plus with Aidan exceeded my expectations. Lots of detailed and first hand knowledge and anecdotes provided a perfect way of going down memory lane. Recommended.

Meet the original music clubs!
Very interesting guided tour with a kompetent tour guide who knows everything about (punk-)Rockmusic. Soho in these days was very different from 'nowadys "high" society and tourist walking miles. He gave a quite good view in the former days of the quarter and its music!

History of Joe & a changing West London
Comprehensive, lively and also funny tour around West London. You get a lot of history about the The Clash, Joe and the 101ers. But also about other musicians and places in the area and the social background back then. Aidan grew up there, so he brings in personal memories too. Highly recommened!

Enjoyable few hours in Soho

Excellent Walkabout in Joe Strummer's Musical Neighborhood
Aidan was a wonderful and extremely insightful guide, taking us through the community in which Joe Strummer came up with amazing detail. An incredible journey back in time with someone who was there. Thank you for such a memorable experience!

The fun way to do a Walking Tour!

We booked the tour in September 2023 and enjoyed it very much. Aidan was a very funny guide with a good sense of humor and he gave us a lot of "OMG really" moments and a totally unexpected sight into the former british punk scene. Still wish to have been a part of it when punk has its beginnings, but we were born way to late, so this was a good chance to get a glimpse of what happened back then. Thank you very much!
