I enjoyed the exhibit but know that it is pretty small. You will not spend more than an hour here. The exhibit when I visited was the Family Archive. I enjoyed it very much. I only wish there was more to see.

It's small and Brixton is a cool place to visit. Even if you stop in, it won't take a lot of your time. I enjoyed the one exhibit while I was there. The food at the cafe was good. I bought things from the gift...More

Lovely handsome Georgian building in the heart of Brixton which I am pleased has been saved from collapse after years of decay. I just hope there is more to see next time I visit - it just felt like a series of near empty rooms...More

We visited the Black Cultural Archives expecting to see a lot of material relating to the history of black immigration to the UK. We were disappointed at how little there was to see. We could only find one room with a few items to look...More

Called in for a coffee and red bean soup to warm up out of the cold . Excellent food and beverages. Staff helpful and friendly. Great find on a cold day whilst visiting Brixton.

Great cultural archives & an excellent cafe to rest your feet. The green soup is the best I've ever had. Fast wifi too.

Went to see the current exhibition about Rastafarianism - Rastafari in motion. The exhibition is all contained in one room but it is well laid out, there are photos, videos, artefacts and words explaining the history. About 8 other people were there at the same...More

Great exhibition centre in the heart of Brixton - an important part of it's rapidly changing cultural heritage. But don't miss the delic veggie cafe. Fantastic wraps, soups, salads and cakes.
