Very busy but expected as it’s prime summer. Couldn’t find a spot outside as we we being smothered in smoke. Once inside music so loud you need to shout. Some roudy early 29’s came in glass dropping. Glasses don’t get taken often.

I can’t say I’ve had a bad experience here in the past. Staff welcoming. Nice back outdoor area etc. Last week however, on taking some friends who were visiting I was actually embarrassed. The food wasn’t great but most of all the staff were so...More

Spent a couple of hours chilling this afternoon, could have sat outside for a while, but elected to stay indoors. Service was friendly and efficient, excellent range of beers on tap and to top it all, a bottle of Prosecco for £14 just can't be...More

This place is a hovel. The staff are surly, incompetent and lazy. They will happily walk passed a bar full of customers pretending to be busy doing something while actually just scurrying out the back to the kitchen and avoiding work. And that is the...More

Visited with a mate just for a quiet drink and chill... Service was very good, very friendly, helpful but not cloying. Good atmosphere and busy enough to show it had a good reputation locally. Decent choice of Bitters and they are kept well, good beer...More

Had dropped by for Sunday roast and was not impressed one bit. The roast tasted stale and was served just warm. The only plus was the match that was being streamed live and the beer + crowd.

I like this pub, friendly, good selection of beers and manages to be spacious while remaining cosy. The food looks good though I haven't tried it. There is also a lot of outdoor seating and you can watch sports

Visited last night with my fiancée after a night in the cinema. We've been a few times before and thought it an ok pub, with reasonably priced drinks. Last night though we entered the pub to find a rather overweight and ageing doorman not concentrating...More
