Lovely vintage shop by day and a great little venue by night. They have a range of live performances pretty much every night in an intimate setting, we saw two bands on a Friday night who were great and the audience was mixed and friendly. Nice bar area and helpful staff with an outdoor courtyard, reasonably priced drinks and £8 entry fee so well worth the money. Definitely recommend! hi…

This was my first visit to this quirky little venue, which by day is a vintage clothing store, but by night transforms into a cool little 110 capacity music venue. Programming seems to centre mainly around small, up and coming rock, indie and pop acts, although a few bigger names have passed through over the years. The ground floor has a well stocked bar with some seating and access to a small rear garden/smoking area, whilst the venue itself is upstairs, with a small second bar tucked in the rear corner. I attended a charity music gig at Paper Dress upstairs in their function room - not very big but with approx 80 people in there the atmosphere was great. Perfect for live music on a smaller scale. Only slight grumble was the selection of beers seemed to be mostly local ales and apart from one on draught (upstairs only) was only sold in cans and bottles - however I wasn't drinking much so didn't spoil it too much! Seemed peculiar going into a gig through a dress shop but that just added to the quirkiness of the place…

Paper Dress Vintage is my favorite night out in London! In the day the shop sells all sorts of old fashioned (vintage) clothing from different era's. When the sun goes down and the moon comes out, the place comes alive! The clothes are pushed to the edges of the shop, the main desk is used as a bar and tables and chairs appear. Performers of all sorts sing and play different instruments. I've been on a number of nights where I've heard swing, 50's music and the list goes on. It becomes a very lively place as the night goes on! I definitely recommend it! Friday and Saturday evenings are the best! It was originally located in the middle of Shoreditch but in the last few months has moved to Hackney.…
