Fraud. I reserved a return transfer to the hotel August 31st and Sept.03rd and paid for it in advance as requested. They did not show up and did not answer the phone so I had to take a cab. I wanted transport to Gatwick airport, journey distance is 60 miles and I wanted an early start ( don't trust the M25 ). Unicorn Transfer was just Perfect!!! The driver was on time, he drove very responsibly and smoothly and the price was very inexpensive compared to either driving yourself and parking or a normal taxi. Definitely recommend and will use again…

I’ve used Unicorn transfers a number of times over a few years and I was reasonably happy with them. However, recently we booked eight seater taxi to take us to Heathrow and it did not arrive on time. A number of phone calls followed where the taxi dispatcher lied to us about the problem by claiming the vehicle had broken down and another would be sent. When the vehicle turned up it was a five seater and it was the original vehicle. The driver had just misread the pickup time. The pickup was 45 minutes after the expected arrival, we were extremely worried about getting to the airport on time and we were within one minute of ringing the local mini cab company in desperation. The delay meant we were caught up in M25 delays due to an accident, which added to our stress levels. We emailed Unicorn and asked for compensation for the cheaper five seater being sent in place of the eight seater, for the stress caused by their dispatcher lying to us and the excessive delay on pickup. They read the email but have not replied. While this is only one bad experience with the company versus a number of good pickups, I have completely lost faith in the company and I will not deal with a company that lacks honesty and integrity. If you book with them, use a credit card and call your credit card provider for a refund if they fail to deliver the promised service.…
