We had gone to London especially for this gig - we’d seen the band locally, but wanted to attend this one. It’s a small club, with a few tables & chairs round the edges, there is a cloakroom to leave coats if you wish at a small charge (I think £2). The lady on reception & the door staff were friendly, the sound was good, as was the lighting. The bar was pricey, but we’d expected that - a great little venue, brilliant night!

Easy to find thanks to its location across the road from Great Portland Street station, this is a pretty good two-room venue located in the basement of what looks like a block of flats. The main venue is surprisingly large and has a nice high stage and impressive acoustics that helped make for a loud, raucous experience. The bar is a bit of a let down, with the usual over-priced keg beer selection that I've come to expect from live music venues - if the queues in the main room are long, follow the signs for the cloak room, as there is a second bar hidden in a back room there. The smaller Venue 2 offers an intimate space for upcoming acts and has a separate entrance and its own bar and toilet facilities. The programming here can be a bit hit and miss, which means the venue goes under people's radar at times, but they put on enough interesting stuff to make me keep checking their listings.

The place is hard to find and the interior design of this place isn’t fancy at all. The seats were also uncomfortable

Went here for Sex Pistols Experience and what a great venue. Good sound, decent service at bar, ok range of beers, cloakroom and friendly staff....just big enough and yet small enough too for great concert....

Had an amazing night last night at the neoteryc live open mic show. The only fault, well MAJOR FAULT I have is the sound engineer was terrible!!!!!! From unnecessary echo and reverb whilst artist were singing ( seems like he didn’t know the songs at all) Completely messed up the experience. To absolutely messing up and the sound and having to restart equipment, which could and very nearly well did mess up the dynamics of the show. I hope this is fixed in the future and neoteryc fully compensated for spoiling there show.. All the negative a side venue and staff were amazing and will be attending in the future.
