Visited for Easter Sunday yes it was open and was never closed all sundays of coronavirus as per command of Almighty God for His churches that are his house and particularly for such a time as this. Over 40,000 people attended and there were miracles after miracles. Hosana our God Lives and Blood of Jesus is powerful to remove all illness Amen. Such a well hidden secret. This modern French Catholic church is tucked away in a small alleyway just off Leicester Square. I know this part of London really well, but only found it through its TripAdvisor listing. It’s very much a modern building, especially the interior which was restored in the late 1950s after being badly damaged by WW2 bombing. The most notable features are works by a number of well known French artists, in particular the striking murals in the Lady Chapel by the iconic French artist, writer and poet, Jean Cocteau. Very well worth finding this church and seeing the interior.…

The Choir was practising when I called in. I stayed listening to the them for nearly an hour. It was like a West end show even though it was all in French.It was my luck I called in when I did.as It was A great treat.

The Notre Dame de France church is near Leicester Square but is not easy to find - I went in circles for about 20 minutes. It’s a fairly new church with unusual artwork: a Cocteau mural, Boris Anrep mosaic, a 21st c tapestry and other items. Vaguely interesting, but wouldn’t go back or recommend it to a casual visitor.…
