Neighbourhood: City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.

- SP10 contributionsThe Most Magical Experience ever!!!!Did the wizard room. I was super excited from the beginning, the room was stunning and difficulty was on a good level. I can't recommend this enough! If you like a certain story about a young wizard, you HAVE TO do this one!! You'll never forget it!Visited December 2022Travelled as a coupleWritten 17 December 2022
- Daniel CleavesLaindon, United Kingdom16 contributionsGreat family experienceWe went as a family with 2 boys aged 8 and 10. Played the Submarine room, was tough but not impossible and received great help when needed. Boys loved it. their first ever escape room... they wore sailor hats and really got into it. They want to do the heist next !Visited December 2022Written 30 December 2022
- AMoorhouse795 contributionsExcellent funWe did the School of Witchcraft and Wizadry as a family group (ages 11-mid 40’s). Can not recommend enough. Brilliantly laid out room with very cool puzzles. And our cluemaster was brilliant. This room had a nice twist as you are not exactly escaping, more how well you graduate. We loved it and planning to go back and do the other ones this year.Visited January 2023Written 2 January 2023
- Bunny N7 contributionsFun and ChallengingVery well organised and really good fun. We went with our nine and eleven year old grandkids, who both contributed equally to solving the problems we were set. The tasks were challenging but not so that we were overwhelmed. It was great to see us working as a team pretty effectively. We would definitely do it again.Visited December 2022Written 3 January 2023
- JutWags7Warsaw, Poland140 contributionsWizarding MagicThis is a great escape room experience. We did the wizarding one, and it was a nice blend of challenge and accomplishment. The kids loved the experience as they are big fans of HP. We enjoyed the atmosphere, and the staff is kind and helpful. Having done a lot of escape rooms, this is a good one for first timers or people with somewhat younger kids. Although the younger ones might not be able to solve the puzzles, they can make the potions or cast the spells to lead to the next step.Visited January 2023Written 8 January 2023
- Gabrielle Cavalcante1 contributionAmazingIt was a lovely experience — very fun and dinamic. Tom (our host) was very nice and understanding with my non-English-speaking family, who also had a great time despite the difficulty of communication. The escape room itself is really beautiful, an immersive experience — to say the least. The price was fair, we all had fun from beginning to end, and recommend this to all *wizardry* (no rights reserved lol) fans out there.Visited January 2023Travelled with familyWritten 9 January 2023
- SpinkyminkyNottingham, United Kingdom697 contributionsreally enjoyable experience loved the Wizard roomI've been wanting to visit here for quite a while and as they were doing an offer for a party of 2 we took on the Witches and Wizardry room. Our game host Sam was great very enthusiastic didn't give to many hints and seemed genuinely happy that we managed to escape in time which was lovely. I really enjoyed the theming of the corridors as you enter it was a great start. we have played a few rooms as a 2 and we each took on our tasks I am more the manual finder of things and my husband is the logical one I felt this room really lent into both of our capabilities really well there were just enough things to find verse puzzles to solve so we were both fully involved for the whole game. I loved the surprises and of course, loved using a wand. Id really like to try the million-pound heist one when we are next in London. All in all this is a great place to take on an escape room happily recommendVisited January 2023Written 10 January 2023
- Jon E4 contributionsAwesome and funMyself and a couple of mates have done two of the rooms at Enigma Quests and have been very impressed both times. The rooms are clever enough to keep you guessing all the way through and we have finished both with seconds to spare. We have done both (the heist and the submarine one) with 3 people and it was about right to keep all engaged. (4 would have been fine too). We will definitely be returning to finish off the wizard one we have leftVisited December 2022Written 16 January 2023
- Michelle B1 contributionA great experienceI took a group of 10-11 year olds to the Witchcraft and Wizardry room and it was excellent. The children thoroughly enjoyed it - managing to solve some of it and asking for clues when needed. The special effects were impressive and the whole group had a brilliant time.Visited January 2023Written 17 January 2023
- Christine BLondon, United Kingdom54 contributionsSubmarine Quest-brilliant experienceWe visited as a group of 4 and did the Submarine quest. Thoroughly enjoyable, some different tasks to other rooms we have done (no fiddly padlocks involved!) Would recommend-probably not as a first go. Clues were timely-if she could tell we were getting there and needed a nudge! We've also done the Witchcraft and wizard and Million pound heist here and would recommend Enigma Quests. Nice ands close to Liverpool St and Moorgate tooVisited January 2023Written 19 January 2023

Excellent customer service! Trains were cancelled and we arrived late but they still accommodated us and allowed us to spend the entire hour! Great fun for an hour would definitely recommend - especially the wizard one!

What a fantastic experience as part of a Christmas night out with another couple. We've previously completed the Heist room and so now for the Submarine room :)
As stated by others, this seems harder than Heist, but its very immersive, engaging and ever so rewarding when you solve the various steps of the puzzle.
Highly recommended and we will be back for the 3rd room - Harry Potter :)

For my first venture into escape room fun it was brilliant. Without revealing too much I loved the attention to detail in the presentation of the rooms. I am a huge fan of Harry Potter and this "exceeded expectations". Thank you to our host too who was informative and friendly.

A fun way to spend an hour - the puzzles are a test but never feel unfair and there is a means of getting hints readily. Probably one of the best introductions to escape rooms for someone who has not done one before.

I booked the Million Pound Heist game for my son’s 13th Birthday with his friends. They are a very loud excitable bunch.
Enigma games were brilliant in giving instruction, understanding the age group and making it an all round great experience.
The boys all came out with smiles and asked to do another game (they are not an easy crowd to please!).
Would highly recommend.

For our company team building activity, we had the privilege of going to Engima Quests. We were 13 people in total, so we split into teams and each party could join one of their 3 escape rooms. Every team member came out energised, excited, and having very much enjoyed their experience! It was a great setting for them to better get to know their colleagues, and have a great individual fun experience too.
The Engina team were so professional from my initial enquiry right through to the day. Thank you so much! Spot on.

We did the Million Pound Heist, myself and my two teenagers. A good level of difficulty, which we could (just about) figure out. Also, good attentive help, to nudge us along. We had a great time.

We had great fun trying to puzzle out the clues in The million dollar heist. Suitable for family groups - we were 15, 50+ and 70+ years old and everyone had a great time.

Yes, you count as one. You will probably end up joining in anyway (don’t worry, it’s fun)!

My daughter would like to bring friends for her 10th Birthday. Would I need to be in the room to help them? If not, she could bring and extra friend. however, I would want her to be able to do it and not have to give up.

Hi, honestly I think they would struggle. I found it hard and I'm 3 times her age. You can ask the guide for help and he can give pointers, but I would perhaps go in there with them. It's fun for you too!

Dear Sandyp,
Thank you for your interest!
There are indeed cloaks to wear and some other props that you can use during the game, as well as while taking a post-game photo.

Hi,
We would like to bring a bunch of kids, 6 of them ages ranging from 7-13years. Would they all be able to contribute and get involved? And could we all do the activity together as a group of 2 adults and 6 kids?
Thanks
Nargiza M
London, UK4 contributions
Hello,
Thank you for getting in touch with us!
All children will be able to contribute and get involved during the game. However the maximum number of players per game room is 5, but you can divide your team into two teams of 4 and play one after the other, and you will be able to compare your results after the game.
I hope this helps, let me know if you have any questions!

Hello,
Thank you for getting in touch with us!
Both of our games do require intermediate level of English language, as there is some text to read when solving the puzzles and also the hints will given in English when necessary.
