Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stop no.8 on my Bermondsey beer tour 12th Feb 2022.

Nearest brewery to London Bridge station. 6 cask beers and 8 taps. I tried the Flat White coffee stout on cask at 5.2% ABV, which is not a stout, but a pale ale with added oats and wheat (and coffee flavour). Not to my taste - 5/10. Staff seemed quite efficient serving a busy tap room.

Worth a visit for the range of cask ales, but there are better out there.

This craft ale brewery is on the south bank in the old brewing district. Tried some great ales here. Local beer expert and guide Gary brought us here on a pub crawl. Enjoyed it lots.

Dropped in here for a beer with my 20odd year old kids while the rugby was on, sat PM. Loved it , great atmosphere and the beer was wonderful. I do enjoy different types of beer and this bewery had a great mix of the traditional and the modern styles of beer. The staff were busy in the background hand labelling bottles - doesn't get any more craft than that!

The staff were lovely, and the compact nature of the site made it quite intimate. I think it operates as a bit of a local as there was a dart board, pool table and they do a quiz .

The area has lots to do and we will be back for sure, all of us loved it

What a find this place was. Set in a railway arch in Southwark, this micro brewery was pretty busy on a Friday night. If you want to try different beers, the staff are more than happy to help you choose. The door was wide open until it got a little chilly. The shutter came down and the fairy lights went on - transformed. Definitely worth a try if you are on the south bank.

A good range of quality beers both cask and keg, the former a rarity on the Bermondsey mile. Very thorough precautions in place.

A fun saturday afternoon, with like minded people, tasting various brews. Word of advice; if you want to visit them all in the same day only have a 1/3rd.

What more can you say than the title. If you like craft beer just go there as the area is loaded with bars, breweries and food stalls.

Have heard great things about the Bermondsey Beer Mile, and as I was down in London one Saturday, thought I would try a couple of them out.

Most peoples raved about the Southwark Brewing Company and can see why, as it was clearly the most busy on the whole street.

Maybe not the biggest, but just a good no nonsense microbrew.

Not the biggest selection of beers on tap, but certainly big on quality.

Grabbed a pint and took a seat at the pool table (that doubled as a actual table) and beforelong the place was getting more and more packed (and this was lunch time on a Saturday).

Will certainly be back again in future as its in a area I would like to explore more.

I'd seen on Facebook that the Passion Fruit IPA which was normally dispensed via key keg was on hand pump. so I popped in for a couple as at 5.8% it was too much for a session. The only problem was they've come up with a 7.2% IPA called Shine on you hazy diamond! Well, the temptation was too much. The Passion Fruit IPA was full of flavour and just exploded on the tongue. Absolutely lush. A half of the Shine on wasn't enough! So I had another ...... anyways, I got home all right, but didn't really have a chance to try the other seven beers on offer! Another time! Although the place was very busy the staff were very quick to serve, welcoming and actually a good laugh. I'll be back ....

My friend is really into breweries and has to go to one where every we go. I found this place for him and he really enjoyed it. Staff was great, prices were good and they gave us a great price on glasses we purchased. They had some sort of South American food also for sale but I did not try it.
