Enjoyed our work offsite here. Really good cocktails, and bar area great. Only a small number of lanes so booking essential of course. It’s an American Diner theme so you have to go with the 50s-60s music. The lanes are pretty cool and make for quite a personal experience (rather than the 20 lane mega bowl type places). Definitely recommended.

We walked by this place and had to see in side Retro 50's. After one look we took pictures and sent them to two other families we were traveling with. Everyone wanted to go. We met later that night and had drinks in the Lounge then moved to our dinner table. 1/2 of our group was just league drinking age so the had a ball with the drink menu. The bartenders were very knowledgeable and good at helping to pick out drinks. The food was great, Mac and cheese was fantastic. Hanger stake was tender and cooked to my requested temp. Sliders with tree different meats, pulled pork, fried Chicken and Beef. Each one was great. Serling stake also cooked perfectly and then a couple chili dogs piled high. It was great that we were able to put down one credit card at the bar and they gave us a charge card and anyone in our group could just show it a staff member and order what ever they wanted. We then bowled and just had a great time. At the end we were able to split the check up and make several payments.

American styled bowling lanes, bar and restaurant. I went here as part of a birthday do. We had two lanes as well a large table booked and everything went really smoothly. The staff was really nice and looked after us well. The bowling lanes were pretty standard, however, there wasn't a large selection of bowling balls of varying sizes and the score screeh was waaaay too far to the front of the lanes. As soon as you stepped on the lane, you couldn't see the screen at all anymore. Made it a little awkward to keep track of everything as you always had to step all the way back to see what's going on. They also don't have the standard bowling type seating where everyone sits in a U shaped bench style area, instead there were a few bar stools and tables at the back. The lanes next to ours did have booths off to the side, but ours didn't. Drinks from the bar took a little while to get so we tended to delay our game as everyone had to wait for thirsty people to return. Not sure if the bar staff was really slow or what was going on, but it didn't seem too busy, so shouldn't have taken as long as it did. Once we were sat down at our table after the game, everything went really smoothly. They have an American diner style menu selection. I had the Reuben with a side of mac'n'cheese. The mac was great, very mild and cheesy and luckily without the weird crumble topping a lot of places use here. The Reuben was flavourful but very very dry. It seemed like the bread was stale, so they overgrilled it to mask that, it was tough as rock and not very enjoyable. Overall a decent place to go for bowling, probably not worth it just for the food though.

6 friends booked the place for a bowling evening and some drinks. A good plan for a week day. All good with the bowling - nice lanes, good music, a good atmosphere. We order some drinks on arrival- couple of old fashioned. Nicely done, very tasty. After a while the girl called us, our lane was ready. We ordered another round of drinks (the same). This time no garnish, some ice rocks floating in the glasses - both with diferent taste! We told our waitress about it as soon as we get it. After a while she told us to go to the bar explaining what's wrong with the drink (?). The bartender came a bit after and we told him. He said he didn't have oranges and the measures were correct/perfectly balanced. We suggest him to try it. Because he was insisting, we dedided to order something simple - a gin n tonic. He left upset before we could ask for our gin (they have a nice choice). The waitress came with something tonic. She didn't know wich gin it was. We sent back and cancelled the drink. Bartender came again asking an explanation. We explain about customer service, and how lovely would be to ask wich gin we would like (there's a tasting and price range). We all thought it was obvious. He went mad back to the bar after we told him it was ok, we don't want anything. We would just enjoy the bowling as it seems it's dificult to get a simple cocktail. Meanwhile we informed the service manager about it, and during this the most unexpected happened: the bartender came with a glass of water on the rocks and said "enjoy this one, I hope you feel happy now" (lol). I couldn't resist the tenpation to tell him to bring it back because i didn't ask for water, specially with ice. In the end while we were paying, the manager gave us a card with his email address. The cards you will see all over the place. In a dead day, the company have these people in charge dealing with guests. So much for the quality, and the effort to keep them happy. Terrible service, very unprofessional. Even in a busy day this would be unacceptable- but no. It was almost empty, and no one in the counter. What a disappointment! Enjoy the bowling, run away from that bar!
